I remember Amy this way. Curious, kind, gentle, strong, caring, giving, loving, sweet-spirited, and obviously creative! Amy, you are dearly missed.

Amy, I was greiving with a friend who lost her husband and I thought of how you focused on relationships and the people you love around you the most.
Thank you for your example, words of encouragement, wisdom, listening, cheering on to focus on the most important direction! If any one can get this to you, God can! Love and miss you!

Amy had an amazing spirit and the day I contacted her about Grain Belt Express she made such a difference in helping me connect to the folks who were already working to oppose Grain Belt. Her efforts to fight against this project helped me launch the fight in our county. Sadly missed and condolences to Robin and family

Amy will be missed. She made a big impact on our family, teaching art class to myself and my three kids. She was a sweet friend and a wonderful person. Love and prayers for the family. May God bless you and give you comfort! Love and hugs. I’m so sorry that I wont be able to attend the memorial. I hope to see the live or video of the service.

A sad day!
I knew Amy in high school and I adored her. She had a Beautiful spirit, always helping someone, always kind and loving. I named my daughter Amy because of this amazing person.

As you know, Amy was an exceptional person. We were close friends since the 4th grade when we got in trouble (probably the only time either of us ever did in school!) for coming in late from recess because we didn't hear the bell while pretending to be characters from A Wrinkle in TIme. If only we could have more time with Amy and her lovely smile. Hugs to her family.

Just wanted to send my sincere condolences to Amy’s family. I grew up across the street from the Petentler family and graduated with Amy. Remembering Amy as such a talent in art and was always so very kind to EVERYONE. Peace to your family

Amy was such a loving support to me through the years. She was a wonderful prayer warrior; I would often voice concerns to her and request prayers. I feel that from her heart Amy exemplified Galatians 6:2; "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." She is missed! I wish people didn't have to go away. Time is much too fleeting. I'm so grateful for the friendship that I was blessed to have with her. Love and empathy to all the family. "The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: the LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: the Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace." -

I am so sorry to learn of Amy's passing> She was such a beautiful individual and was so important in helping me preserve my late Mothers work. She was an a wonderful artist and conservator. She was such a thoughtful and gentle person. My heart and prayers go out to her family and good friends.

Amy was a cousin of mine. There was a great deal of difference in our ages, so I didn’t really get to know her very well. The messages that you all have left here make me wish I’d had the opportunity to know her personally. But oh my, what a tremendous loss for those of you who interacted with her. She was obviously someone with great spirit and love for her fellow man. And what a talent. The projects she shared with us on Facebook…I am in awe of her talent. She’s at peace now, and that’s a happy thing. I’m just sorry for the loss to those of you left behind. Love to her family. My thoughts will be with you as you lay her to rest for the final time.

I am grateful that Amy was a part of my families life. She was lourie’s art teacher but became much more than that. She mentored us all on how to see things from God’s perspective with love and acceptance. Her faith in God inspired us all to trust in a loving heavenly father. Love and prayers are sent your way. I always loved her laugh….. and I loved that even when she was in pain she was still able to find joy and laughter.
I also loved how she was such a free spirit, not afraid of what anyone would think , which meant she was very accepting of anyone and would let you be “you” without any judgement. She was such a beautiful women inside and out …
She really had an impact on who I am today in a good way because of her being a part of my childhood.
It’s hard when the Lord chooses to take the “good ones” back home to him too early than what I would want ,
But I also know that His plan is sovereign and good. She falls into the category of someone who will truly be missed every single day. There will be things that will remind us of her and will make us smile or cry on a daily basis….. in those moments I pray that you will be able to feel Gods presence and you will find peace and comfort in the memories and grief. May God’s peace that passes all understanding (Phil 4:7) reside in your hearts and minds.
I love you guys so much and I am so blessed to be able to call you my friends.
