When I was a little girl, one of the highlights of going to visit Granda Anita in Arroyo Hondo, was spending time with Uncle Able. He was kind, patient, playful and generous. He would let me follow him around as he went about his business at the gas station and garden. Patiently explaining what he was doing. He let be his "go for", go and get this or that. There was a nice cold pop and a warm smile at the end of each day. He was so much fun and so handsome. I thought the sun rose and set on his smile.
