Abe E. Cardenas

Abe E. Cardenas, 88, of Questa passed away on October 22, 2019. 

Abe proudly served in the US Army from 1950-1953 in the Korean Conflict.  He enjoyed his job for the Questa Headstart and was the biggest fan of the Colorado Rockies. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Louisa Cardenas, parents, Willie and Celina Cardenas,  twin brother, Willie Cardenas Jr., grandchildren, Christina Sanchez and Lito Romero, in laws, Euligio and Rosita Ortega. 

He is survived by his children, Connie Archuleta (Jimmy), Rosie Sanchez (Moises), Michael Cardenas (Roberta), Carla Apodaca (Raul), Anna Cardenas, 20 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, sisters, Oliva Gomez and Geraldine Kalka (Stefan), brother, Ernie Cardenas, many other relatives and friends.

Rosary will be recited on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 6 PM at Rivera Chapel in Taos.  Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 10:30 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Questa.  Interment will be held on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 12:45 PM at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
