"13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:" - 1 Thessalonians 4:13-16

God bless you.

Rev. Aaron Olumuyiwa Olamijulọ –The Aaron of our time (Numbers 18:20).
A matured Christian. Your work with the Scriptures Union in Eastern Nigeria brought the knowledge of salvation to me in my secondary school. God later brought me to Lagos and gave me the privilege of working with you in your office. You were a rare gem.
You really helped in making the burdens of pilgrims lighter.
Your works live on, one of which is the Apostolic Faith Church in my village.
Rest on beloved Daddy.

A TRIBUTE TO A RARE GEM!!!

We thank God for the life of a veteran soldier who started well, finished strong, and has gone home for his reward. Rev. Muyiwa Olamijulo, one of the board members in our church in West and Central Africa (WECA) work as well as in the leadership of our Crawford University, had been a great positive influence in the lives of many and had impacted me and my family tremendously.

Since the days of his work as the Traveling Secretary of the Scripture Union (SU), until his time as the leader of the AFC Youth Corpers, we learned a lot from him and the lessons formed us today. As the second batch of youth corpers serving the nation after college/university in the church during the National Youth Service Corp, NYSC, all twenty (20) of us still have great experiences to share about his tenacious lessons.

He truly was an exemplary teacher. Apart from my early salvation years, the NYSC period was my best integration year in the church as we learned a lot about the different facets of the gospel through this great teacher. The Lord really used him to teach us life lessons. His hard work and positive attitude were testament to the success of the program and what made us today.

"Brother Muyiwa," as he was fondly called, put us on a very tight schedule with every minute of the day gainfully accounted for. I never knew hard physical labor like scrubbing the toilet and stuff. I learned it under this great man's leadership. My hands got blistered from physical labor, and my roommate nicknamed me, "My Egg." I used to think we were overworked, but in hindsight, it was a great training for us.

In addition to leaving the camp very early in the morning to our respective duty posts and returning late, we had to be in all the midweek services. We served in different capacities, including church, house, and school evangelism. The Association of Visiting Secretaries, AVS, services generated a lasting memory.

He taught us how to stay in prayer even after a tiring busy day. At bedtime, he told us to stand up and prayer-walk in the room to avoid sleeping on our knees after a tiring day. He said we could not engage in church activities but grew lean in our spiritual walk. He said we must not neglect our personal growth time with the Lord due to church work.

I'll never forget a story he told us about finding the good in every situation rather than dwelling on evil things and complaining. He told us about how Jesus was traveling with His disciples. They ran into the carcass of a dead dog that was smelling badly. The disciples covered their noses profusely and were complaining about the horrible smell. But Jesus found the good in that deplorable situation and said, "Look at the white and beautiful teeth of that dog." We were all amazed, and I never forgot the story till today, some forty years after.

When the Lord used us in organizing to start our AFChurch in Chicago, he was very involved and supportive. He put us in contact with any gospeler relocating from Nigeria our way.

My husband and I had the pleasant privilege of hosting him in our home in Chicago several years back and learned powerful different twists to family alter. This inputted an infallible memory of his dynamic teaching style. My husband loved him and enjoyed engaging him in learning sessions we all benefited from. He was so loving and fond of our children, James and Ifreke.

He was a giver and never forgot to do good to people. During one of my trips to Nigeria, he remembered my family. He had bought and packaged an Efik Bible with English translation and asked me to use it to teach my children our language. What a man with thoughtful expressions! It was a gift we all cherished as a family.

As a visionary leader, Rev. Olamijulo had been an excellent supporter to us and the work of God during his days as the Regional Overseer of the region in Ikot Enwang.

While in leadership at Crawford University, I remember our academic exchanges as I was lecturing in a Christian university, Indiana Wesleyan University. He had a vision for a strong Christian world view for the institution and was constantly seeking ways to enhance its global reach.

While we can not enumerate all the inspiring and exciting remembrance of this great Christian, we cherish his memories. It is fulfilling that he is resting at the bosom of Abraham after a successful lifetime work as he taught us.

An evangelist, a family-loving man to his wife and children, a prayer warrior, a teachers' teacher, a trailblazer veteran gospeler, Rev. Olamijulo will be missed. However, we are consoled to know that by God's grace, we will meet again in heaven, and so shall it be in Jesus' Mighty Name!
Farewell Titan Soldier!!!

In loving Memory ❤️

Joshua Idowu published a tribute .

Knowing and serving under Muyiwa was truly a blessing and as I go through comments and individual thoughts that had been shared, I have been carefully evaluating my life, it’s not Muyiwa again it’s Josh!

My first close encounter with him other than on the camp ground was at Ikot Ekpene in Akwa Ibom in 1999, he drove down from Lagos in his beetle (ijapa), he drove himself and came in company of another vehicle that had his belonging and the vehicle with his belonging went back after offloading.
I was working under bro Ukut of blessed memory who was the treasurer for the whole AKS then, a week later bro Ukut gave me an envelope to go and pay bro Muyiwa his monthly stipend and I told him from my little knowledge I don’t think he collect anything from the church, but he insisted.

I went to bro Muyiwa with the envelope and delivered the message, he asked me to return it to bro Ukut, in his word “hhhhhmmm Tope you should know better, hmmm, take it back I will explain to bro Ukut” he patted me still on my back.

Well until I leff after my service year, brother Muyiwa never collected a dime from the church, rather he started paying us youths coppers 1,500 naira monthly, we needed to cover the tabernacle in Ikot Ekpene that year before the camp meeting and there was no money, Bro Muyiwa took me to the bank and withdrew over 300k and lend it to the church to be paid back whenever they can, I can go on and on.

Today my heart is full of praise and thank God for allowing bro Isaac to share just a bit of his last moments here, his retirement money returned! Satisfied with God’s provision, looking forward and content with his heavenly reward.
Today he has it, just imagine i am going to the same heaven with bro Muyiwa, looking towards the same reward.

His words to me at 2017 Portland Camp after preaching, “God bless you, I am praying for you, try and slow down when preaching you know we have aged people so that they can hear you clearly” that stood with me!
Pray God to help me, the church and those here today awaiting His return.

Rev. Aaron Muyiwa Olamijulo.

What a man, what a living, what a legacy!

My earliest memory of "Bro. Muyiwa" (as fondly called) date back to the camp meeting days in Anthony Village, Lagos.

I heard and watched so much about him due to his involvement in AVS, Campus evangelism and during the passing out parade of the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC, corps who are Apostolic Faith members).

Another unique memory about him was when he was serving as the Secretary to Rev. Soyinka. His siting position during camp services was that of an attentive officer, ready to respond to any need. I observed closely that his attention was always focused on Rev. Soyinka, in case he would need him. That struck me deep. What a commitment and attention to details.

Also, as a young man, I never knew I would have opportunity of working closely with him. The opportunity came when he was posted to Abuja as the Regional Overseer.

I had been hearing about "crossing your "t" and doting your "i". I was able to experience this, practically with him. I love his attention to details and spirit of excellence. While working under him as Worship Secretary, one of my duties was to prepare the weekly announcements. If I omitted a comma or full stop, he would use his own pen to add it to the typed copy and I had to edit and reprint. That was a big and impact lesson for me – attention to details.

I was oportuned to serve in some areas of the ministry's departments and due to overlapping expectations and responsibilities, some of my line bosses (Directors) felt I was overloaded with responsibilities and should be assisted in some areas. I didn't want the complaint to come from me but one of my boss did that during a meeting with him. His response to the complaint was epic. He said there's nothing wrong for a worker to be exposed to various operations in different departments. The only consideration he allowed was for me to look around our branches in Abuja District for an Organist that could be seconded to the Headquarters to assist me. Looking back today, I thank God for the opportunity given me to learn from different departments, under Rev. Muyiwa Olamijulo.

Rev. Muyiwa was a principled and yet very loving man of God. When I approached him concerning fixing a date for our wedding, he said he had already concluded his wedding schedule for that year, but according to how he put it "I think I'm interested in this" He must have been praying for it. The wedding took place outside his Region (Abuja) but surprisingly he informed me he was given the opportunity to come and conduct the wedding.

When I was to relocate from Nigeria, it was so difficult for me to inform him. After our relocation, my Pastor informed me of how he was calling him to follow up with my welfare.

I heard of how he was developing Sunday school resources those early days. When he noticed I was working on similar resources, he especially called me and shared his experience with me. He was such a great encouragement.

His gentle but impactful style of approaching matters is noteworthy.

We thank God for his life. May God help us to follow his steps.

Good night, Sir.

In the last thirteen days, I have pondered on what to pen down about Baba Olamijulo as we recently chose to call him in our family.

The service of songs this evening left me shattered like a log of wood floating on waters; lost in numerous thoughts of the past.

How he single handedly devised a means to reconcile my dad and mum's decades of separation. Besides, we cannot forget the two years of ceaseless weekly contacts not to bring my dad back to church but back to Christ.

Baba Olamijulo nurtured many people, young and old. He always ensured that people around him were not only spiritually balanced but he touched on our academics, martial lives, and physical wellness. He paid attention to every small/big details about you. He wept and prayed for you and I. Very peaceful and gentle and a YES man of God. He thoughts us in Campus AVS never to take "No" for an answer on evangelism.

In the conflict for the right, when the battle draweth nigh, he weathered the storm, he fought a good fight. He fought for you and I also. Today he has joined the Church triumphant. We lost, but heaven gained, all glory to God.

As a body church militant; we have received:
§. a mantle to fight for the right and keep on keeping on till we join the church triumphant. May God hide our souls in the cleft of the Rock
§. Mantle to hold on to:
~. Keep eyes on Jesus
~. Be ceaseless in prayers
~. Focus on soul winning
~. Plug ears/eyes to distractions,
~. Pay rap attention to edifying things

These are the mantles left by him. May God help us to grab them all in double portions IJN

Our Dearest Uncle - Rev. Aaron Muyiwa Olamijulo:

It is a great honor to celebrate and give deep, heartfelt thanks to God for your life. Ah, Uncle. What a blessing you were and still are. For all the years we were honored to know you, you have been a beacon of light, a shining light, a role model of deep dedication, selfless service to God, and selfless service to others. You and our father, the Olamijulo twins, have always been two peas in a pod - both excelling in love and both so passionate about the work of God. With God’s help and guidance, you both helped to draw your entire immediate and extended family closer to God, and they also served and are serving God with the same passion that you modeled to them.

Uncle, you were so kind, cheerful and humble. You put God first and also put others first. You were generous with your love and with your life. You had a deep passion for sharing the gospel and glorifying God in every area of your life. You continually provided practical support to so many people, from young to old. We are so grateful for the opportunity to celebrate your life and give PRAISE to God for a life well lived.

We love you so much dear Uncle, and we are so grateful to God for the marvelous example that you have set for us. You have left a legacy of unwavering love and service to God and others.

We love and appreciate you Uncle. Odigba sir, Odabo sir. Till we meet again at the feet of Jesus.

Much love from:

Reverend Aaron Olumuyiwa Olamijulo (Rtd) lived a greatly exciting, amiable, ascetic, selfless, spartan, and godly life worthy of emulation by the 21st century Christian.

He was a worthy example of a Christian in the similitude of Apostle Paul, Rev. T.G. Oshokoya, Rev. J.O. Soyinka, David Brainerd, William Carey etc.

May your breed be exponentially multiplied among us and to us may grace be given to follow in their train. Amen.

A Personal Tribute to
Reverend Aaron Olumuyiwa Olamijulo

It is with great honour and profound respect that I write this personal tribute to a remarkable man of God who has touched the lives of countless people. I had the privilege to serve as his personal assistant during my NYSC and years following. He called me “Son” and I called him "Dad”.

As a devout follower of Jesus, Reverend Olamijulo (Otherwise called “Oga” meaning master) exhibited many of the Lord’s divine attributes: goodness, kindness, faithfulness, dedication, singlemindedness, love, patience, joy, steadfastness, and so many more.

Rev. Olamijulo is an evangelist par excellence dedicated to spreading the good news of the Gospel—into every place using the vehicle of the Association of Visiting Secretaries (AVS). His unwavering dedication and commitment to his calling have left an indelible mark on all who have had the privilege of knowing him. His passion for sharing the gospel and tireless efforts to bring hope and comfort to others in their times of need have been a source of strength for many. His sermons, delivered with sincerity and love, have illuminated the path of spirituality for countless individuals.

Rev Olamijulo modelled for us the spirit of forgiveness. He makes no record of mistakes. It feels like he forgives instantly. As young people working with him, he gave us so many lifelines before bringing a “gentle” correction or rebuke and one will always feel the love in his rebukes. He will however continue to relate with us as if nothing has happened and no reference will ever be made to such event again. This is what endears him to us as young people.

Rev Olamijulo modelled humility in his daily living and it was from him I learnt how to be firm but gentle. He is very approachable, actively listen to us, allow us to make suggestions and then empowers us to implement. He gives me assignment beyond my age (at age 23 yrs) and trust me to perform it very well. We all feel valued and empowered working with him. I had the priviledge of attending to him personally - take care of his clothes, polish his shoes, his food, take care of his children and manage his personal belongings. Such was the high trust and confidence he had in me and it was a joy to serve him in that very close range. He practically duplicated himself in me for which I am forever grateful.

As an astute administrator, Rev Olamijulo exemplified the virtues of leadership, organization, and integrity. His meticulous attention to detail, combined with a genuine concern for the well-being of those under his care, has made him an inspiration to all. He is highly organised both in his official work and personal life with a strong focus on order and excellence. I am acutely aware that when I dry-clean his clothes, each suit must be put together with its own tie, belt, cufflinks, socks and shirt and properly pre- arranged to avoid time wasting when needed. Everything in his office has specific location and must be returned exactly as it was. His ability to manage and nurture both people and resources is a testament to his exceptional skills, and his ability to turn vision into reality is truly remarkable.

Reverend Olamijulo’s life serves as a living example of the profound impact one person can have on the world. His unwavering faith and the principles by which he lived have inspired and uplifted everyone who has had the privilege of crossing his path.

May his legacy continue to shine brightly, and may his words and actions continue to inspire generations to come.

FAMILY MEMBERS’ TRIBUTES - 6

COUSINS:
Bro Aaron Olumuyiwa Olamijulo, as he was usually called. He was a wonderful man of God and a nice cousin. A man with integrity, wisdom, love and uncommon generousity. He was always ready to help at all times both spiritually and physically.
Despite his degree in Economics in the olden days in Nigeria where vehicles and houses await almost every degree holders, he chose to work in the vineyard of God throughout his life time due to his love for the work of God and God.
According to the scriptures, “by their fruit we shall know them”, I am happy to submit that the life of Rev O. Olamijulo bore the fruit that he preached.
His Christian life was fascinating and until his death he served his lord Jesus Christ with Fervor.
I came across the gospel in 1979 the influence of the concert and sermon cassette he used to send to his mother, Mama Olamijulo who happened to be my father’s Aunty. By the grace of God, I started listening to the concert music and at times the powerful Sermons which I found very difficult to ignore.
As my initial conversion came through these spiritual materials, my Christian journey became very well established through the help of my Sister in the lord, Sister Funke Oshadare and Late Rev Peter Atoe whom my uncle introduced me to for counselling and spiritual advise.
I was privileged to be by his side through the challenging period and even as challenging as his illness was, we saw the hand of God upon his faithful servant. One, out of many testimonies experienced was God sparing his life to follow us to the last camp meeting
Permit me to express my special thanks to the lives of Rev Emmanuel Moh and other committed ministers of God who were always coming to pray along with us and specially for Rev Olamijulo.
I am sure you all know yourself but God knows you all.
A day to his demised Bro Ade Olamijulo, Sis Bisi Olamijulo and myself came together to pray for him by his sick bed we prayed many times and we felt all was well but God Knew better. Uncle death had confirmed to that death is inevitable.
Fellow sojourners let us keep holding unto God and believe in the word of God John 11:25
I am the resurrection and the life, he that beliveth in me though he is dead yet he shall live.

My special condolence goes to Sister Olamijulo, a woman of strong faith and example of the Biblical virtuous woman.
I pray that your life will continue to be a living lesson for women of your generation.
To the children I say rejoice because my uncle, your father has gone back to be with the father where he has a place for eternity.
Adieu Rev Olumuyiwa Olamijulo.

TRIBUTE TO MY COUSIN.
The news of your death came as a rude shock.
All glory to God Almighty for his life that was invested in the things of God. He contributed immensely to the work of God, He knew, walked with and worked for God till the end. Brother Muyiwa was an epitome and ambodiment of peace, love, trust hospitality and discipline.
A man of pure heart. Slow to anger and very affectionate.Although, we would have loved you around much longer but Almighty God called you home for the experience of an everlasting peace.
The only solace we have is that you are now resting in peace in the bosom of your maker. Continue sleeping in the Lord till we meet again to part no more. Good Night.

FAMILY MEMBERS’ TRIBUTES - 5

Uncle, I still can't believe I am writing this tribute because of your passing. But if this is the last time I get to say goodbye then I know I will do so with knowledge that I consider myself blessed to have lived this life as your niece. Uncle, you were and will always be an inspiration to myself, the entire family and anyone who worked with you. You have left a void in the family that will never be filled. While we mourn today we also take comfort in the fact that your mission on earth have been fulfilled, we thank God for your life and bid you farewell till we meet again.
ADIEU MY LOVING UNCLE!!!

MY TRIBUTE TO UNCLE MUYIWA.
Indeed, Earth lost a wonderful soul, but our consolation is that Heaven also gained back home a beloved Saint! And that's my Uncle! What a joy!!
Now, knowing that to see him again means one must also make it to Heaven has added to the reasons one must not miss that beautiful Home above.
A meek man to the core.
His exemplary life has greatly challenged me to seek to make the most of whatever remains of mine.

FAMILY MEMBERS’ TRIBUTES - 4

Tribute To A Dear Brother
No amount of humanly care would suffice when one’s Time is Up! And so it was when just about a month before my brother’s passing, and though on a sick bed, I ‘saw’ him dressed up, moving briskly as if going from his Anthony Cabin towards the Tabernacle. Alas, it was a dream! I ‘saw’ him yet again a few days preceding his November 2, 2023 D-day, in suit appearing to be climbing the Anthony Tabernacle stairs to preach. It was then clear to me that I needed no Joseph to interpret my dreams. I knew it was Time Up! But it would be unthinkable for me to advise all carers around him to stop caring for him. So I held my peace with a prayerful heart that the Will of God be done quickly. And just the night before he gave up the ghost, I led a group of visiting family members in prayer in his cabin that the Will of God be done in his life. He gave up the ghost about eight hours later!

Our biological father brought us up in a Christian home while Brother Muyiwa led me and many other family members to Christ. From the Scripture Union (SU) days, to the days of “Jesu f’Èjè Re wè mí” (Jesus, wash me with Your Blood) in Apostolic Faith Church, I was exposed to genuine Christian teachings that laid good Christian foundation for me and my family members on which we’re now building. God will surely reward Brother Muyiwa for winning my soul and many other souls for Christ.

My sweet brother and a daddy in a million. You were my mentor. A disciplinarian and counsellor of repute. In times of need you were there for me and the children. You showed me the way of Christ, in conjunction with my other elder brothers from teenage. You held and coddled me as you would have done your first daughter. It's an understatement to say I'll miss your very gentle approach to matters. But I take solace in the fact that we will meet one of these days. You must have met our loved ones who have gone on before. You came, you saw and conquered. Rest on in the bossom of your Lord and King, Whom you loved above all. Adieu.

FAMILY MEMBERS’ TRIBUTES - 3

For Our Dear Brother - Rev. Aaron Olumuyiwa
We give thanks to God for your life and for all the wonderful things that God has done in and through you.

Thank you very much for your friendship and brotherhood - in the work of the Lord, as a dear brother, as a friend, and as a fellow worker in God’s vineyard.

Thank you for your endless contributions to our family. You always did your very best for us.

You mean more to us than we can express in words. We are very grateful for your life and for the profound positive impact you have had, and continue to have, on countless lives.

We know you have heard the words “Well done good and faithful servant.” Indeed, you have been a good and faithful servant of the Lord. Well done.

I love you twin brother. Till we meet again.

From Very Rev. Dr. & Mrs. Samuel Kayode Olamijulo

………………………………
Rev Muyiwa was one of 12 children that my father had. As a family, we are grateful for the life and service of Rev Muyiwa. His love for God and longing to see everyone in the family saved has impacted us for generations to come. After college he chose the humble progression to work for the scripture union to distribute religious tracts and work for the Lord. He never chose a flamboyant lifestyle or profession. Instead he joined and devoted himself to the AFC in Lagos and invited all family members to participate. Through his scripture union ministry I came to the Lord as my savior. He was the rock of Gibraltar of the family. He was a good example and role model to follow. Brother Muyiwa will be fondly remembered by many for his family, zeal for God's work, caring for all and devotion to what he believed in. My wife and I say rest in peace. We love you, but God loves you more . Thank you for your faithfulness.
Jide and Goldsta Olamijulo

………………………………
My loving brother, my daddy one in a million.I thank God on your behalf. You started with God and ended with God triumphantly with many trials but overcame through the blood of the lamb.

My father wished his children to be Doctors, Reverend and Principal, you fulfilled one. Rev. Aaron Oluwamuyiwa Olamijulo, you represented the family well.
You loved all through and through. There is no errand you couldn't run for me. I will miss your hugging when ever you travelled back to Lagos and we met. You followed the paths that your father and your savior wanted you to tred. You were an epitome of love, patient, kind and gentile. Adieu, a gallant soldier, rest on the bosom of your God till we meet to part no more.

FAMILY MEMBERS’ TRIBUTES - 2

SIBLINGS:
Ecclessiates 9:8 ‘Let thy garments be always white and let thy head lack no ointment.’ My dear brother, Reverend Olumuyiwa Aaron Olamijulo was anointed to serve God and he served well. He was a devout Christian, a man of God, a family man and a great mentor. His impact as a preacher was far reaching and he did this with such grace and humility.

It was always an honour to call you my brother. You always looked out for me even though we lived far from each other. I was looking forward to celebrating your 80th Birthday with you and family, however with your passing, I accept that it is the will of God. I will always celebrate you, your life and legacy.

On behalf of the entire Olamijulo family I express my gratitude to everyone who has come together to celebrate my brother’s life. Thank you all for your love, support and prayers.

………………………………
Born with Gentility and Died a Gentleman

Rev. Muyiwa Olamijulo was my immediate younger brother, born on November 15 at Ikirun. He was the son of Late Senator L.T. Olamijulo and Mrs. E.A. Olamijulo. Our family ancestry is from Ile Ife, to Igbajo and finally settled in Imesi-Ile. He attended Methodist School, Ikirun, Methodist High School, Ilesha, and University of Ibadan. Our family lives as children brought up with other children treated by our father like they were his own, was bible oriented. We had to wake up very early in the morning for family prayers in the house, do our chores, go to school, have lunch, study, and end the day with a prayer meeting. We had to attend choir practice, be choristers at Methodist Church Ikirun, where our father was a co-founder. After Muyiwa’s graduation, I spoke with a top official at one of the biggest industries in Nigeria who told me a managerial position was awaiting him because he graduated in Economics. I rushed to tell him. He told me he would think about it. He came back to tell me he had secured a teaching job at Aiyepe, Ogun State. He later told me he was engaged in ministerial work with Apostolic Faith Church. I received it with mixed feelings because I was expecting him to say Methodist Church. He introduced me to the Overseer, Rev. Oshokoya, usually called Brother “T” and his wife. With Muyiwa’s involvement in student union activities in his early years at Methodist High School and University of Ibadan, I was not surprised that he chose a ministerial path as his life career. He left the Methodist Church for Apostolic Faith with five of his junior brothers and sisters and spent the rest of his life serving Christ.

I attended his wedding ceremony with Morayo Adeta, his adorable and industrious wife of blessed memory. After Morayo’s death, I told Muyiwa I would like the children to live with me. He said he would think about it. He declined, saying he would be lonely. I had the opportunity of attending his wedding to Ebene at Ikot Ekpene. My joy knew no bounds knowing she was an educator, and that assured me she would be a positive influence in the lives of the children. She wonderfully cared for Muyiwa. Ebene, God Almighty will take care of you.

Muyiwa, you struggled to speak with me about a week before your departure. Words cannot express how much I love and miss you. Your gentility is your inheritance from your father and mother combined. God Almighty that you served supported you throughout your life. He will not depart from the church, families, and friends you left behind.

Thank you Apostolic Faith Overseer. Thank you all.

Lady F. Bukky Fashokun

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE

We, the members of Apostolic Faith Church in Eket Area, hereby commiserate with you on the passing on of your dear father, one of our veterans, Reverend Aaron Olumuyiwa Olamijulo, whom God had used in different capacities and locations for the uplifting of His work in Apostolic Faith Organisation to His glory. Rev. Olamijulo was a man I imagined within myself how he gets along most of the things he did.

1st - When he met me for the first time, in one sitting, he asked me about my full names, my email address, my work, my education level, my place of origin. The next time I sat around him, I found out that all these details were saved against my contact in his phone. Whew! That was too m uch fro me to grasp.

2nd - The last time I worked with him was the night before his leaving the then PH Region HQTRS for Lagos WECA HQ on retirement. That night, I came for Night Prayers but as a General Office worker, I passed through the office and immediately noticed him walking towards the office. First reaction was to turn on the Generator for power/light and I thought he would be needing just a few minutes to pick up something. From that past 10pm, we work, standing most of the times, till 2:45am.
What did he come to do? To sort ALL files and trash papers and left instructions, by writing, and directed on who I should hand over the folders to when the day breaks. That night, I learnt another level of consecration that would never leave me - work until your very last minute. Don't post God - do the work He has given such that there is no excuse left anywhere.

May God make us like the fathers we've seen and worked around with.

"Tell Father I'll be there"...is my only consoling word to myself now.

Tribute to our Pioneer Proprietor Late Rev A.O.Olamijulo

"My dear Kings and Queens" - This is how you addressed us every time you had the opportunity of meeting with us and this went a long way in molding our minds and character in the way we saw and carried ourselves both in and out of the school environment.

"Cleanliness and Godliness" - We can also recall how you took us around the school and church environment to train us on how to keep the environment clean always, with your watchword that "Cleanliness is next to Godliness", and to this day most of us find it difficult to drop wraps and other waste on the floor even where there are no waste bins in sight.

You will be greatly missed. We have consolation in the fact that you have lived a good, impactful, and fulfilled life and God has called you home in his own time.

May your gentle soul rest in the bosom of the Lord, Amen.

The Association Of Visiting Secretaries (Avs) published a tribute .

TRIBUTE TO THE LATE REV AARON OLUMUYIWA OLAMIJULO
- FROM THE ASSOCIATION OF VISITING SECRETARIES (AVS)

Like Paul the Apostle who said “I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord” (Philippians 3:8), Late Rev Olumuyiwa Olamijulo sacrificed his entire adult life to propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ. We, the current members of the Association of Visiting Secretaries, are beneficiaries of his legacies.

Bro Muyiwa, as he was fondly called, gave his life to Christ as a youth in the Christian Union. His dedication to gospel work led to his appointment as President of the Christian Union at the University of Ibadan while studying there in the 1960s. After graduation from the university, he taught briefly at Aiyepe Girls High School. Thereafter, he surrendered to the call of God to become a Travelling Secretary under the Scripture Union. He drove to many cities across Nigeria passionately ministering to souls through school visitations as well as organization of rallies and holiday camps. He also organized training for teachers and leaders. In the early 1970s, Bro Muyiwa met brethren from the Apostolic Faith church. He admired the church and later decided to become a full-time missionary there.

Rev Olamijulo’s movement to the Apostolic Faith Church (AFC) gave a profound boost to the church’s evangelical activities. He humbly worked with Rev T. G. Oshokoya and other veteran ministers to build an effective structure for AFC’s evangelistic outreaches. In a bid to penetrate evangelistic barriers, the outreach arm of the church was re-branded as the Association of Visiting Secretaries (AVS). The AVS turned out very successful as planned. Bro Muyiwa’s experience as a former Travelling Secretary contributed to the acceptance of AVS in many communities where he ministered previously. He worked with an editorial team to formulate, from elementary and other Sunday School materials, the curriculum of lessons that are taught during AVS outreaches. The AVS manual containing the organization’s policies, operational processes and procedures, introductory and consent letters to external stakeholders and the AVS anthem was created in collaboration with the church management and relevant stakeholders. After Rev Soyinka and Rev Temisan, Rev Olamijulo was the third AVS General Secretary. Under Bro Muyiwa’s leadership, many rallies and retreats were organized. These led to the conversion of many souls into Christ’s kingdom.

He exploited the opportunity of having NYSC members serve with the church. Youths engaged through NYSC served as secretaries who propagated the gospel under the AVS. They also served in various departments of the church. The NYSC members were centrally given orientation in Lagos and then deployed to different parts of Nigeria to serve in the AFC. In addition to introducing the corps to the operations of the church office, Bro Muyiwa trained them on personal development e.g. how to be frugal with resources, healthy and cost-effective nutrition and thorough study of Sunday School lessons. He encouraged saved members to appreciate the beauty of the gospel.

Rev Olamijulo was instrumental in the development of AFC’s evangelistic outreaches in higher institutions. He facilitated the renaming of the “Old Christian Faith” fellowship to “Campus AVS”. He mentored Campus AVS members to excel at their studies and also win souls for Christ while in school. He supported the different revival and evangelistic programmes organized on campuses as well as the first national students’ rally in 1995 which has now evolved into the annual International Youth Camp (IYC).

Bro Muyiwa always had a calm and unruffled demeanour. He readily shared his limited resources with indigent and challenged individuals he interfaced with. Though he was diligent and disciplined, he rebuked mildly. He was also a good listener and a compassionate father to many. He handled life’s challenges with humility and total surrender to God’s will. We could appropriately describe him as one of the heroes of faith in our generation. He once ran into military men while travelling towards the end of the Civil War. After one of the combatants tried severally to break the windscreen of Bro Muyiwa’s car with the butt of his gun without successful penetration, the warriors had to tell him “pastor please go.” At another time, he neutralized the power of armed robbers who attacked him on a journey by boldly rebuking them in the name of Jesus.

Praise God for fulfilling in Rev Olamijulo the promise which states, “With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation” (Psalm 91:16). We pray that reflection on Bro Muyiwa’s life will inspire many people to attain Christ-like virtues and thereby expand Christ’s kingdom on earth.

Brother Muyiwa, as he was fondly called, was a good father, caring boss and a good soldier of Christ.
I was privileged to work in the general office after my computer school when he was the secretary to the church. I was working directly under brother Dele Odunsi who happened to be his secretary. His method of correction was unique and it stays with one forever. If there was any typing error, he would correct me by teaching me 'don't must be followed by a present tense'. He would indicate where I needed to put hyphen, apostrophe and so on. He would never correct someone by shouting/yelling at him/her.
Thank you for the fatherly advice. Thank you for stopping by whenever you saw me to greet me with a smile on your face.
Goodnight daddy!

A TRIBUTE TO THE “COMMANDANT”

In our Youth Corps day, serving with the church, we used to call him “The Commandant” simply because he was in charge of the training, posting and mentoring of youth corps members posted to serve with the church.

My first close contact with him was when I reported late for 83/84 youth corps set. I reported to him, that I would like to be working in the church while waiting for my call-up letter. He promptly sent me to be working with the carpenters from Ibadan, who had come to make pews for the church. I was wondering why he would ask me to be working with carpenters while my mates were attached to various offices in the church; but little did I know that he was training me. After the assignment was done and I received my call-up letter, he asked me to be working with him in his office, Cabin K12A, the most famous cabin in the whole of the campgrounds then.

He was an astute administrator who gave great attention to details. He would be sure all I’s were dotted and all T’s crossed. He worked relentlessly without reservation. He worked till 1am many times and I had the task of driving him home in Onigbongbo. By 7am the next morning, he was ready for pick-up, with his packed lunch. His flask was an improvised wooden box, where he would put his “Amala” and “Ewedu”, his favourite meal. After a couple of months with him, equipped with the training received from him, he posted me to the office of the then Africa Overseer, Late Revd. Josiah Soyinka.

Brother Muyiwa was a very understanding leader. He well understood our youthful exuberance as rookies and fresh graduates from the university. Many times, we entered “guardroom” with our heads of departments and the first question you would hear when we discussed the issue among ourselves was: “Have you told the commandant?”; knowing fully well that once you discussed the issue with him, it would be resolved. You would definitely receive a scolding and afterward he would discuss with the HOD concerned and you would be asked to report back to your duty post. He made the service year most interesting for us. One cannot easily forget the orientation and passing out trainings, where he took us through the history, workings and policies of the church, evangelism and especially the AVS work, into which we were all drafted.

While on a counselling visit to Bro. Soyinka with my late wife just prior to our wedding, we stopped at his office and I can never forget the counselling session we had with him as well. That was when I understood very well what “Common Purse” meant in the real sense. This we practiced and never regretted it.

Brother Muyiwa was a role model, an emeritus interpreter, expounder of the Word, instructor, trainer, leader, mentor……and the list goes on. He will surely be missed. Rest on till we meet on the resurrection morning.

I got to know Rev Olamijulo personally in 1991 as a youth copper posted to serve in Apostolic Faith Church. He was our instructor for the orientation programme in Anthony camp ground and within the short period we had with him, he was able to put us through many things about the Church. The history of the Church, the Church evangelism - We automatically became an AVS member as a Corps member of the Church - he devoted much time on training on AVS evangelism, He talked briefly on spiritual life experience and the one thing I found most interesting is leaving us with an abstract that discuss about life experience and we are left to discuss the contents within ourself while he later return for conclusion. Its always an interesting session to me. He is really a teacher, a mentor, a life changer, lover of all souls. He loves all of us. I am just fortunate to know him.
He later retained me in Anthony to continue my service year after the orientation programs. Another misery of the man of God in my life was that having known that I did not know how to drive but he can see my interest to learn, he voluntarily gave me his official car - Peugeot 504 saloon car - to learn driving without formal experience and this I did and I became a driver. He later sent me to transport department for my first driver's licence and this is how I became gospel driver up till today.
Whenever I have challenges and I meet him for advice, what he will tell me is that, go to the basement and pray.
I also have the opportunity of working with him in Abuja as a regional overseas and in many occasions he has being a peace maker within my family, and he as a father to me, will do all within his power to bring peace between my wife and me. I will ever be grateful for him in my life.
This also i coveted in him - his spirit of given - One day I have the opportunity to open the Church tithe box and about two envelopes were addressed to him. The treasurer sent me to deliver the envelope to him. What surprised me was that, as soon as I gave him the envelopes, he told me to wait. He brought out bank tellers from his room and immediately all the money were allotted to people with various challenges and needs and i took the same sum of money and the tellers to bank that same day to transfer to those people without remaining a dime.
I also remembered my days with him in Lagos. In every 26th of December, we must go to beach on picnics with the family. He loves his family. Its always a happy moments and a time we always look forward to.
He is a man that loves driving also. Despite his status and stressful activities, he always preferred to drive himself.
Rev. Olamijulo made me to be somebody in the Church at the time I see myself as nobody, his impact in my life will ever be remembered and I will ever be grateful for all he has done for me and in my life and in my family.
Adeu Papa, rest on till we meet again at the feet of our redeemer.
Bye for now.

Felicia Moh published a tribute .

My family knows and loves him as Bro Moh's father.

Right after Brother Muyiwa graduated from the university, he volunteered fulltime in Scripture Union, Nigeria. He took over from Jayne Sutton (yes, the same Jayne we named our daughter) who, as Travelling Secretary to Scripture Union, had placed my husband on scholarship. Bro Moh's family had refused to train him in school, partly because he became born-again. Brother Muyiwa stepped in to be the father and big brother who handed him clothes to wear and a place to spend his holidays.

Together, they moved over from Scripture Union to Apostolic Faith and have remained father and son to this day. Twice he has been his best man. After his first wife died, he remarried Ebeñe, their mutual friend from SU days.

His departure is a personal loss to us. But we grieve with hope. We know that his lifelong labour of love will come up as a sweet memorial before God.

TRIBUTE TO REV. AARON OLUMUYIWA OLAMIJULO (1943-2023)

The Scripture Union (Nigeria) family received with shock and pain the news of the demise of our committed brother and leader, Rev. Aaron Olumuyiwa Olamijulo and hereby commiserates with the entire family and all those affected by his demise.

Rev. Aaron Olumuyiwa Olamijulo feared God and lived a selfless life. He was an exemplary leader who, would set a goal for himself and would follow it up with so much passion, vigor and an unwavering determination. His preaching, lifestyle, words of encouragement and mentorship impacted so many lives positively.

Rev. Aaron Olumuyiwa Olamijulo served at various capacities. He was a one-time Travelling Secretary of Scripture Union (Nigeria). In recognition of his indelible marks, the Scripture Union Nigeria named him after her International Convention Hall at Camp of Faith Okigwe, Imo State in October, 2022. We wished he lived longer to continue with the good works but the Lord knew it was his time.

Rev. Aaron Olumuyiwa Olamijulo will be greatly missed by Scripture Union (Nigeria), but especially his family and all those who love commitment and selflessness. However, we are consoled by the Scripture that the dead does rise to eternal life, and it is our belief and hope that we shall join with him and the saints triumphant someday.

The Union sends deepest condolences to the entire family of Rev Olamijulo at such a critical time as this. We pray that the Lord will grant you all the fortitude to bear the loss of our Reverend, Husband, Father, Brother, Friend and former Travelling Secretary of the Scripture Union (Nigeria).
Adieu Reverend and Mentor Olamijulo!

Thank God that I knew this indefatigable and accomplished General in God's army early in my Christian life, he has impacted my life in so many ways that it's not easy for me to explain now. Bro. Muyiwa was a man with great passion for the dying world, he epitomized humility in concrete terms, he was willing to spent and be spent for his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. complaining was not found in his dictionary of life. In times of challenges you could hear him whispering deep in his heart like Paul the Apostle q"But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry which I have received of the Lord Jesus to testify the Gospel of the grace of God" Thank God that heaven has the accurate records of souls you've won for God's kingdom. We will not see you and talk with you again on earth but we look forward with high expectation to seeing you again at the Rapture. You were a good and loving father to me. I didn't grow up to see my biological father but you filled the gap perfectly. I am going to miss you but I want you to be rest assured that your labour of love on my behalf will never be in vain in the mighty name of JESUS.

Mrs Ebene Aaron Olamijulo
Apostolic Faith Church, West and Central Africa Headquarters

TRIBUTE TO PA REV AARON MUYIWA OLAMIJULO
It is so painful to write on behalf of our family to commiserate with the Olamijulo family on the demise of our late father, friend, brother and mentor, Pa Rev Aaron Muyiwa Olamijulo.
The late Pa Rev Aaron Muyiwa Olamijulo was a Traveling Secretary of Scripture Union in the early days of our embracing Christ at the Boys’ High School, Ihube, Okigwe, in the present Imo State, in the early 1970s. During his itinerant journeys, he would drive into our school to find out how we were doing. His visits strengthened us and gave us the courage to know more about Christ, believe in Him and follow Him. We were taught that there were no half measures in Christianity. Mathew chapter seven was the centre of discipleship. We were made to believe every scripture that could bring us into faith and faithfulness. Pa Muyiwa was soft spoken and penetrating. We enjoyed his visits which kept us refreshed until he came again. Of course, Christianity was so despised then, but we were discipled to stand for Christ.
Pa Rev Muyiwa was so amiable, ebullient, dependable, friendly, and resilient. He was so courageous. He endeared himself to us and we loved him. The seed of the word of God he planted in us made it possible for us to move over to the universitis afterwards and continued with Christianity with ease and stand till today.
We began to ask about Pa Muyiwa after several years until when we served SU Nigeria as Regional Chairman, one of Uncle S.S. Nwanne’s sons hinted that he was still working for the Lord in Abuja. We insisted on having him come down to Camp of Faith Okigwe, which he conceived as a Traveling Secretary to dedicate a building in honour of Uncle Nwanne who was his Area Chairman, and with whom he worked to open the Camp of Faith Okiwe Imo State.
We are happy that last year, while preparing to serve out as the National Chairman of SU Nigeria, the SU Council under our leadership agreed to immortalize Pa Muyiwa by naming the largest auditorium in Camp of Faith after him. Pa Muyiwa and his family profusely appreciated the gesture of the Union.

There must be an end to life. Our interaction with Pa Rev Aaron Muywa Olamijulo convinced us that he was a good gentle man, a dedicated servant of God, a Christian and a lover of God . He is bowing out at a time we, but especially the Olamijulo family, and the body of Christ need him most. We cannot understand it!
We hereby console the Olamijulo family and the Apostolic Faith Church, at such a time as this. May the Lord grant us all the fortitude to bear the loss of our dear husband, brother, father, colleague, leader, mentor and grant his soul eternal rest.
Adieu Pa Rev Aaron Muyiwa Olamijulo. Adieu a servant of God, mentor, leader, brother and friend. Rest in the Lord.

Vice-Chancellor

SHADE:

Most Beloved Brother Muyiwa! He was a very generous man of God. My first introduction to Bro. Muyiwa was during my very first camp meeting in Nigeria in 1977. As a newly saved Christian, I was excited to go for camp meeting but lacked the provisions necessary to sustain me for the three weeks. Bro. Muyiwa took me in his cabin and fed me for the three weeks.

That camp meeting was my best camp meeting ever! It was unlike anything I had ever experienced in my life. It was like Heaven on earth; the people were like angels. I remember the wake-up song in the morning, "It is already time for morning prayers; brothers and sisters let us pray!"

Oh, what it would be like when we all get to Heaven and be with Jesus and all our loved ones! May the Good Lord help us all make Heaven. It may be closer than we think.

SKA:

Our Aaron Won!

Our beloved Brother you were;
As with many who are well aware;
Of your form of gentle humanity;
In your practice of pure Christianity.

No coincidence you were named Aaron;
For of long while yet a little son;
God saw in you the sacred properties rest;
To serve faithfully the Eternal Priest.

Your humanity was well tempered;
By your self-discipline broadly acquired;
You were literally tough as nail;
Yet unfurled a broad meek mast for life sail.

Of brotherhood you perfected the art;
Of sainthood you possessed the spirit;
A friend to all your signature mantra;
A foe to none was no extra.

You were a super shrewd spiritual builder;
And to generations a honorable elder;
A tall, bellwether example of devotion;
In how to the Lord you're in total allocation.

Acceptable, by your Blood-expunged anterior;
Respectable, for your consecrations superior;
Accessible, through your pleasant exterior;
Dependable, in your wisdom-laden interior.

Painful to us the loss of your strides gallant;
Precious to God the breath of your love valiant;
Through Christ to Gloryland no doubt you're gone;
By walking in His righteousness our Aaron won!

Rev. Olamijulo was a Father indeed.
He Was a brave soldier of the cross, I was with him when he lost his first wife, even though everyone misunderstood him everything seemed odd for him, yet he looked up to Jesus whom he had loved - He never fought back- He would rather pray and love everyone around him. He proffered to love than choosing enemies.
I also served as one of his secretaries where I learnt a lot from him, he had a good command of English, he would spell check everyone carefully before they were sent out. payed attention to details to holding it a high standard.
He showed maturity and gravity in his words - would rather correct with a heart felt love
Finally, He does not condemn anyone, he made my driving perfect till I was a professional at it. He would patiently teach you untill right.
He believed that the God in you can make you a perfect vessel or treasure useful for all things by this, he would bring out the good potentials in you. What a loving Father did not like to be stained by anything.
Goodnight Daddy.

*A Tribute to Rev. Olumuyiwa Olamijulo*
Bro. Muyiwa as we fondly call him was my mentor. When I was deserted by my family. I found shelter in the loving hands of Bro. Muyiwa. His visit to me at Calabar when I had no body was like an oasis in a desert. He came fully parked with all that a lady would need in the university hostel.
Who is this Bro. Muyiwa?
A man of valour who got the call of God early in life and the vision of winning souls for Christ he was like Paul he did not lose the vision until he breathed his last.
Bro. Muyiwa was cool, quiet and unruffled under any circumstances, he was ready to lend a helping hand, give wonderful and useful advice. Loving and caring with wonderful and useful spiritual advice that would make the gospel worth dying for.
He was like Moses of our time who forsook the pleasures of Pharaoh’s Palace for the vision he caught. First class in Economics in the 70’s meant nothing to him. He held on to the call of God in spite of all odds. My mentor and my father, he did not have favorite children, he treated all the youth who had contact with him equally. He was never partial. Have you seen a man who will never say “Am Tired” He worked tirelessly, he drove from Uyo to Lagos, Enugu to Lagos, Ibadan , Kaduna, Mubi and often to many places joyfully encouraging
and winning souls for the Lord.
A man who will not complain about anything, he ate whatever you offered him joyfully whether sweet, or sour or salty. At the end it is thanks. Who is like this man am talking about, he is longsuffering, unruffled under any situation. An encourager, a good listener ,a giver, full of mercy and compassion. He quickly adapted to every situation without complaint. The father of the youths. The word of God did not fall in his mouth. A disciplinarian with love. No compromise with the truth he knew, He lived and taught the word of God fearlessly with all his heart.
Your visit to Kontagora in 2015 cannot be forgotten. Daddy you touched everyone who came across you with love and gospel message.
You are loved by those who loved the truth. I missed you.
Sweet Rest Daddy.
Till Resurrection Morning.

IT’S ALL OVER NOW!
Blessed be the God of Heaven who filled you with His love, then sent you out to be an agent of love and service to many and blessed be His name forever that in His wisdom He arranged that our paths should cross! Your positive impact on my life has been profound and great! As a neophyte full time minister in your District, you invited me from our Calabar branch church to the Headquarters at Ikot Enwang to preach! It was a bolt from the blue for me which boosted my faith in God’s call on my life in a big way for many years.
Later on, we met again when I came to Ikot Enwang to work. Acute depression caged me inside my residence for years and many gave up hope that I would ever rise again. But you were a constant encouragement with Biblical counseling and prayers. You would say,” Emmanuel believe God, He will see you through this one also.” There is no doubt in my mind that your effective intercession with tears and solid encouragement contributed in no small way to God’s merciful and wonderful intervention in my healing and restoration. You loved me like your biological son if not better! I had completely lost faith in myself but you didn’t.
This is not to say that you always pampered me because one of the sternest rebukes I had ever received in this life came from you. But I knew you said what you said out of genuine love and concern. Oh the fellowship we both enjoyed when we reunited at the ordinance service in August 2022! Tears of joy streamed down our faces as we hugged each other as if we were going to break each other’s backbone. How did we know, that would that would be our last meeting in this life? Your prophecy to me that day will remain a secret between the two of us.
You had confided in me that you were asking God to show you His glory and He has done just that. Now Satan’s varied and drivers attack on your life are over. YES IT’S ALL OVER NOW! HALLELUJAH!

Tribute to Rev Muyiwa Olamijulo
I knew Rev Muyiwa Olamijulo in the mid 70s and admired him for his great commitment to God’s work and God’s children.
His commitment to the AVS works was not only inspiring, but also challenging and encouraging to the AVS secretaries as well as new converts; as it were, continually raising and building an army for Christ through the AVS ministry.
As God’s true messager, his life, sermons and teachings, were characteristically clear, simple and comprehensible, always piercing through my heart - to the very core; while his words of advice, and sense of duty made him endeared to me personally, and I believe, to many others who heard him.
A teacher of the highest repute, he was also an Interpreter whose talent could only have descended from the Holy Spirit. In addition to these, his humility, hospitality and love for brethren, godly attention to issues, despite his busy schedules in the Gospel made him a role model, a gem and a true ambassador for the gospel of Jesus Christ. He will be greatly missed.
Bro Muyiwa was a personification of the old-time gospel, one of whose lives mostly impacted me as a young Christian. Glory to God for this giant of faith! My prayer is for the grace to keep his kind of legacy, and be sustained in this glorious gospel until the rapture, where we meet him and all beloved saints who have answered the call before us again.
On behalf of my wife (Janet) and brethren in Apostolic Faith Church in Australia, I pray the Lord to comfort Bro Muyiwa’s family and fill his gap in the Church.

Tribute to Rev. Aaron Olumuyiwa Olamijulo
Adieu My Father.
Where do I begin to write about this RARE GEM in earthen vessel. A man with a heart of Gold, a visionary extraordinaire. Growing up as a young boy in the church, I had always admired him, his command of English language, his administrative skills and his poise and his humility.
Our journey as a father and son started in in 1994 when my mother passed away and my auntie late Sister Esther Inyang (Nee Fakolujo) introduced me to him. He took me under his wings and started mentoring me. I started volunteering with him in the office. He thought me many things about church administration. If there is anything of value that I know about church administration today, I appropriate to Rev. Olamijulo.
Reflecting on our journey together, as I learn under him, many memories flood my mind which I will cherish until the end of my life. Just to share a few:
I remember an errand that he sent me to Abuja in 1996 or thereabout, we planned it to be a trip of 3-4 days, but it ended up as a trip of 6 weeks. Some details of the tasks were very sensitive, and I felt I was too young both in age and in my Christian walk to handle such. But he trusted me with it. Each time I called to give feedback many times about the roadblocks that we encountered during the errand. He encouraged me to be strong and advise on how to deal with government officials involved without compromising my Christian faith. Those advise has proved valuable to me over and over again in my life journey across many countries. Daddy, I as fondly called you, I learn diplomacy without comprising Christian integrity, I learnt patience and endurance. Thank you.
Rev. Olamijulo had been my go-to person for advice on most of the big decisions I have made in my life. The first big decision I had to make was in 1996, when I turn between two options, potential job offer at American Embassy and to pursue a degree program at LASU, looking at my situation and the care of my five siblings, the job offer was tempting. I asked Rev. Olamijulo for advice, without mincing word, he said “as a father to a son, my advice is for you to go to school. Do not just take my word for it, go to the basement to pray and I will pray along with you in my office” I went to pray, God assured me to go to school. Daddy, I learnt a lesson that day, ask God to direction, he will always lead you. Thank you for teaching me.
As I went to school, you gave me the key to success in your word of encouragement. You said to be successful, I should study as if all my life depended on, I should pray as if prayer alone will give me success and I should trust God, as if that is the only thing that will bring me success. I have proved the formula to be true not only in my academic but in all my endeavours. Thank you, Daddy, for words of wisdom. I will cherish them for ever.
During one of the ASUU strikes while in LASU, I was living on campground when a man visited Rev. Olamijulo for an advice on a matter. Rev. Olamijulo sent for me. He asked me to provide advise on what can be done to solve the problem. I offer a suggestion, to my surprise he told the man to just go do as I had advised. The man came back a days later that the issue was solved after following the advice. I leant a lesson that day, no man has all the answers and never look down on anyone, God can use a child to provide solution to a problem. Thank you, Daddy, for teaching and mentoring me.
I can go on and on… on many lessons that you taught me. I will carry all your words of advice, wisdom and encouragement with me for the rest of my life. The last communication we had regarding my current assignment, I will cherish for ever. Thank you.

Triumphant exit of a great man of God,
He made me what I am in gospel today , as the overseer of Abuja region we went on Revival train to some part of the northern region I went as a choir member along the line there was a need for an interpreter in Hausa language and he called for me to teach Hausa lesson on Sunday morning in the church after which he asked me to interpret his sermon I was so afraid but he said God will help me and truly God did.
While we are returning back from Kafanchan to Abuja I was made a senior Sunday school teacher and transferred to headquarters to be the first Hausa teacher teaching Hausa Adult class, that was where I drew my spiritual inspiration and strength .
He made me who I am today .
God please help me to see him again in glory when the roll is call up yonder.

TRIBUTE FROM SAM ADEYERI
Bro Muyiwa, my great mentor in several aspects of life...in quietness, in humility, in prudent management of resources and more importantly in passion for outreach work. I would never forget the June 2013 grand church planting outreach we both led to Igede-land in Benue State. You brought your own team from Abuja Region, I brought mine from WeCA Hq, Lagos. And FOR TWO WEEKS, you were with us in those villages. In your humility you slept only one night in the better accommodation we arranged for you only for me to see you coming the second day to join we 18 others in the very lowly apartments. You're a wonderful Christian.

I see myself to be a man of many parts - from different veterans of the church. But the portion taken by you is very substantial.

Soon we shall see again to part no more. Then, it won't be for soul winning, rather to present ourselves and the souls where both we and they would only be singing the Hallelujah chorus. Goodnight.

Bishop Raphael C Okafor Rtd published a tribute .

Brother Muyiwa, as he was popularly known among Scripture Union Nigeria family, was a Staff in the 60s and 70s. He made great impact especially in the Eastern States.
Brother Muyiwa cannot be forgotten. He was actually my Coach in SU Work for a few years before he went back fully to his work in Apostolic Faith Mission.
His prayer life, dedication, discipline, financial accountability and meticulous attention to details were among the great example he left everywhere he went.
His characteristic smile and simple life style endeared him to both young and old, rich and poor. These went a great deal in contributing to the great success of his missionary enterprise.
As an Economist, he was a good Administrator. Yet, his heart was to go out to meet the sinners were they were. He was never tired of travelling. I cannot count the number of Schools he visited in different parts of the Country, the number of School Rallies he organized, the number of workshops for Leaders and Teachers, the number of holiday Camps across the Country etc.
Honestly, we can write a book on this giant of Faith. I thank God who gave him robust good health. I praise God I got to know him, not only in Scripture Union, but also in the Apostolic Faith. I followed him a number of times to the Church. And there is much to learn everywhere.
We take this medium to pray God's continued blessings upon the wife and the entire family.
Yes, the Church in Nigeria has lost a great Servant of God, but we all know that the world is not our home.
Brother Muyiwa has obviously fought the good fight. He has finished the race, and has kept the Faith. He has gone for the deserved rest.
Good night my beloved brother.

A TRIBUTE TO MY SPIRITUAL DADDY
By Yemisi Ade Odunsi

In 1979, when I newly embraced the gospel, my sister Olufunmbi Ojaleye introduced me to you. The profound love you showered upon her seamlessly flowed to me, and from that day onward, you adopted me as your daughter. Daddy, your love and care words cannot tell– you embodied the essence of love.

In countless camp meetings, you celebrated my birthdays with cash, featured me in the church magazine, and showered gifts on me.

During my NCE days, you went the extra mile by sending provisions through Rev. Elebute who came my way on a missionary tour – a gesture that left me feeling utterly unworthy. These remarkable moments have etched indelible memories of you in my heart.

Even on your sick bed, whenever I visited, I would ask you to hold my hand tightly. I craved to feel the strength in you, and truly, your grip symbolized the gallantry of a soldier of the cross – of battles you have conquered.

As you rest now, my Daddy, I haven't found a replacement. Sleep on and Good Night.

CRAWFORD UNIVERSITY
FAITH CITY, IGBESA, OGUN STATE, NIGERIA

Office of the Vice Chancellor
TRIBUTE TO OUR DEPARTED VETERAN, REV. AARON OLUMUYIWA OLAMIJULO
The news of the passage of our beloved veteran, the Rev. Aaron Olumuyiwa Olamijulo was received with devastating grief by the Crawford University community.
It is appropriate to recall that Rev. Olamijulo was the pioneer Chairman of the Board of Trustees of our University, appointed to that exalted Office in September, 2004 by the founding Proprietor & Chancellor, the Rev. (Dr.) Paul Ogechukwu Akazue. That he served meritoriously in that capacity was never in doubt. It is heart-warming to note that as Chairman of the Board, his sterling leadership and immense contributions culminated in the licensing of Crawford University on June 9, 2005 by the National Universities Commission (NUC). His leadership acumen also saw to the formal opening of the University for academic activities later on September 30, 2005. Of course his wealth of experience, intelligence and passion for the development and steady growth of Crawford University would ever be treasured by the entire University community.
As one of God’s torchbearers, and a passionate advocate of the motto of the Church, “Africa for Christ”, many in Christendom knew that he was one of God’s great generals; and was committed wholeheartedly to the cause of the Gospel. Indeed Rev. Olamijulo was a gallant soldier of Christ who was ever ready to defend and encourage the weak and the vulnerable. His life impacted very positively on the lives of millions of people across Africa, nay the world. In more ways than one, he added value to many lives; he was a balm to many.
We take solace however, in the assurance that Heaven has gained him; where he is now rejoicing in the presence of his Lord Whom he loved and served so dearly while here below. “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” (Psalms 116:15).
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, Governing Council, Management, Senate, Staff and Students of Crawford University, I deeply commiserate with the District Superintendent, the Visitor & Chancellor of the University, the bereaved family and the leadership of the Church on the transition of this bold and fearless man of God. I earnestly pray God to console all of us and grant us the strength of grace to bear the irreplaceable loss.
(Signed),
Professor Reuben Jiya Kolo, Ffs
Vice Chancellor

TRIBUTE TO A GODS' GENERAL

OH; Gallant soldier of the cross, little did I know that when I served you Holy Communion during the August Camp-Meeting 2023, that it would be our last meeting
Your departure has created a vacuum both in your home, the church and to people around you
I pray that God will fill the vacuum with a person of your type
You were a role model, a Godly father, a man of God to the core, a man that doesn't exchange the gospel for anything, a man who willed your properties for the service of God, Lover of all
Indeed your works are clearly revealed as a detailed and principled man.
I will not say rest in peace because you're an already made peaceful man. I draw comfort from the fact that you had attained the eternal assurance of eternity in heaven.
With this understanding, I have come to know that"DEATH" which is a ruthless task master to the wicked, is indeed a servant to the righteous, translating the righteous from the realms of mortality to the realms of blissful immortality.

Farewell, Till we meet again at that great camp-meeting in heaven
Adieu A clergy Man
Adieu A Gallant Soldier
Adieu A Man of intergrity

But you were a consent encouragement with Biblical counseling and prayers.
Tears of joy streamed down our faces as we hugged each other as if we were going to each other’s backbone. How did we know, that would that would be our last meeting in this life? Your prophecy said to me that day will remain a secret between the two of us
You had confided in me that you were asking God to show you His glory and He has done just that. Now Satan’s varied and drivers attack on your life are over. YES IT’S ALL OVER NOW! HALLELUJAH!

Rev Olamijulo was my teacher in Aiyepe Girls High School between 1968 and 1969 before proceeding to serve the Lord as a Scripture Union Travelling Secretary. He taught me Economics, but most importantly, led me to the saving knowledge of my Saviour Jesus Christ. He committed everything, time, labour and resources into seeking the students for the Lord.
He lived an exceptionally examplary life. He was an epitome of simplicity, humility, love, deep rooted devotion to the Lord and His service etc. Though we lost contact along the way, I’m very grateful to God that we reconnected some years back and was a part of his life before his home going. Rev Olamijulo fought a good fight. His life was a true epistle open for all to read.

TRIBUTE TO LATE REV. AARON OLUMUYIWA OLAMIJULO
“MARK THE PERFECT MAN AND BEHOLD THE UPRIGHT FOR THE END OF THAT MAN IS PEACE”(PSALM 37:37)
Rev. Olamijulo was a man of consecration, a prayer warrior, very kind, caring and a mentor who listened carefully to everyone to grant solution to every problem as the spirit of God directs. He lived a very humble life, setting worthy example of how Christian should live. He lived a dedicated and disciplined life, with determination to accomplish the will of God. When Rev. Olamijulo visited us in Mubi Adamawa State with his dear wife in June 2011 for our church dedication, the virtues of Christ was displayed in him. A life of sacrifice, loving, caring, encouragement, good cancelling with sound wisdom that “we should forget ourselves and lunge out for Christ”. In October 2012 when we were challenged by Boko Harram insurgency, as a gallant soldier of the cross, Rev. Olamijulo was not afraid to come to the war front with many check points to visit us with his beloved son Timothy to encourage us, which was his second missionary journey to Mubi, Adamawa State. Like the apostle Paul of old, Rev. Olamijulo displayed his bowels of love by going round to visit all his children in the Northeast where people dread. Daddy your end is very peaceful and you have fulfilled the great commission.All the journey undertaken was by road, from Yola to Mubi and back to Yola where he slept and left for Jalingo the following day, to Numan and to Gyawana. As a lover of souls, Rev. Olamijulo spent a night at Gyawana where he refused a place of comfort and slept in the same room with a brother to woo him back to God. Thank God his prayer was answered as the brother is fully back to church. Daddy you have fought a good fight and a crown of life awaits you.In 2016 when our church land in Yola of one acre was taken, Rev. Olamijulo came to Yola with Rev. Oluwosere to meet the Lamido of Adamawa state for a change of land. By the grace of God two acres of land was allocated to the church with a certificate of occupancy May God grant us the sufficient grace to emulate his life of humility so that the glorious gospel of our Lord Jesus should continue to flourish in Jesus name.May God console the family he left behind and grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. Daddy your departure has laid a vacuum in our heart which only God can fill. We love you dearly but God loves you more. We pray that we shall meet again at Jesus feet on the resurrection morn. Rest peacefully till we meet again.

Tribute to Rev. Aaron Muyiwa Olamijulo

Rev. Aaron Muyiwa Olamijulo holds a special place in our hearts as one of the youngest reverends in the Apostolic Faith Mission during our formative years. His life and contributions are worth celebrating, and it is with profound respect and admiration that we pay tribute to this remarkable individual.

Rev. Olamijulo's retentive memory as an interpreter was nothing short of legendary. His ability to convey the teachings and messages of faith with precision and clarity left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of hearing him speak.

It is both a testament to his dedication and a divine plan that he was called to rest just a few days before his 80th birthday. Rev. Olamijulo diligently ran the race of faith, and his legacy will endure as that of one of the gallant generals in the army of the faithful.

As we bid farewell to Brother Muyiwa, we also seek solace in the knowledge that he has now embarked on a higher spiritual journey. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the brethren he left behind, as we remember the impact of his life and ministry.

Adieu, Brother Muyiwa, and may the good Lord's eternal light shine upon you.

Sincerely,

Dr. Ayo Fasanya

*MY TRIBUTE TO A MENTOR*
I won't forget this aspect of the then *Campus AVS* which he handled with high level of maturity.
It all started when it was observed that most of our church members on gaining admission to higher Institutions often found it difficult, if not impossible, in assembling with us, in campus services, particularly in UNILAG. We presented our observations to bro. Muyiwa, he got the "message" and immediately commenced work on it and eventually *Campus AVS* was born and that marked the end of the *Old Christian Faith* being the name that was approved both by the Church and the University Authorities.
Thereafter the work of campus evangelism saw high level of activities and improved attendance in meetings/programs in our campuses.
Bro. Muyiwa, on occasions, even with his tight schedules, would ensure that all our meetings/programs were held at appropriate times. He was mostly responsible for initiating and execution of campus programs in all our campuses throughout the period he was the General Secretary, even after he became a Board Member, his hands were not totally out of campus evangelisms.
HE will be greatly missed as we continue to thank God for him during his stay on this side of the divide. May God qualify us all for heaven.
Adieu, Adieu,
Adieu, till we meet on the resurrection morning.

Late Rev Aaron Olamijulo

Our dear daddy was an embodiment of love and care. I could remember being the first set of Youth Corpers to serve in the church 1981/82 set. He used to gather us in front of his cabin. Encouraged us and to say what we had achieved. Working with him was a great blessing. I was priviledged to go on gospel work with him with brother Seweje and Sister Beatrice to take AVS.to Northern state in February 1982.
He was never tired because of the distance .We might have got to a place late as 11pm but he would ask us to leave by 4am the following day. His love to me was so wonderful that he used to call me Aunty Remi. On one mother's day I was surprised when he came for a meeting and I sent his food to him in the cabin. He and his wife presented Android phone to me on behalf of all overseers. He was an encourager in the line of knowledge. After my masters degree he used to call me several times to proceed for doctorate degree. To crown it he presented a special gift for my marriage and with his health challenge he prayed for me specially which I know God has answered. I missed a father full of encouragement and love . My prayer is that God should help me to run this race and meet him at the resurrection morn.

I first met Pa Muyiwa in 1973, about three years after the Nigeria/Biafra Civil War, and that was in my village in then Eastern region. It was during one of his evangelism trips across Nigerian communities. Though I was a child in the Elementary Church, his zeal stuck to my memory. Over the years, I kept close contact with Pa and he never failed to mentor me. Then in 2018, that mentoring entered a deeper level as he got posted to Port Harcourt as Regional Overseer. I was already serving at the Church HQ Office. He showed me love beyond word! A man of love, he'd always counsel me to see only the good side of everybody. As a man of great patience, he'd always advice me to always be patienr with people. Humble that he'd apologise to anybody if he found that he was misunderstood. He was among that golden generation of spiritual warriors who gave shape and bite to the Gospel under the banner of the Apostolic Faith Church, and earnestly contented "for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints."

TRIBUTE TO REV. MUYIWA OLAMIJULO

Rev. Muyiwa Olamijulo was the epitome of all virtues godly. As a matter of fact, shortly after I heard about the passing of this great man of God, I started singing the song ‘Mo fe kin dabi Jesu ninu iwa pele, Ko s’eni to gbo’ro binu l’enu re l’ekan ri’ (I want to be like Jesus, for no one every heard Him speak an angry word). Yes, Bro. Muyiwa was not Jesus, but He certainly grew to the fulness of the stature of the Master. I never heard him speak a word that could be described as harsh. His demeanour, charisma, aura and all he emitted was Christ-like. Down to earth, his humility, wisdom and joyful spirit was infectious.

Brother Muyiwa was a great mentor of young people. He was intentional about influencing others for the Kingdom. The Christ-centred principles he taught us collectively and individually have been of great value. I was privileged to serve as the secretary and then, president of the Campus AVS, and then president of the Apostolic Faith Youth corpers, all between 1987 and 1992 – and this gave me the opportunity to work closely with Rev. Olamijulo. I recall his fatherly counsel to us university students when we were sent home for five months during a period of unrest. Brother Muyiwa called us together and advised us to seize the opportunity to acquire skills and not waste our time as we do not know when we will be called back to school. We prayed about it and this advice led me to a typing school in Ketu, Lagos, where I learnt how to type properly and that singular skill has been super useful in my life as I average 60 words per minute – all because the man of God was thinking about us!

Again, he taught us as youth corpers how to live frugally and still save up, a great advocate of healthy but cost-effective nutrition, his lessons on millets and other grain foods helped to make our stipend go a lot further! How much more engaging could a loving father be! He would market the beauty of the Gospel to us even as saved souls. He evangelized not just sinners, but saved souls too. He helped us deepen our love for Jesus. He would turn to me and say, in his ever courteous and respectful manner ‘Brother Toyin, you know, this Gospel is the best. It cannot be compared with anything or anywhere else. Just look at our Sunday School book….’ and he would go on and on about how beautiful the Gospel is. He taught us how to read our Sunday School book strategically over the course of the week. A lover of The Apostolic Faith in particular, to the core.

A true lover of the souls of men. I once overheard a conversation that stuck with me. Apparently, there was someone who was considered difficult to work with on the campground because he was slow to understand things. A comment was made that ‘Oh, he has now been sent to work with Bro. Muyiwa. You know he can work with anybody.’ I did not forget that! He can work with anybody! Whoever you are, Brother Muyiwa can work with you. That was a testimony to his level of tolerance, love, compassion, perseverance, empathy, respect for others even when others failed to understand their peculiarity. He was an extremely loving man. Hardwork personified. Mettle. Brain and brawn. Fearless. Astute. Deeply perceptive. Deceptively wise. Spiritually aggressive. Swift. Alacritous and simply fully surrendered.

It was such a blessing and pleasure to have met a completely self-effaced Christian who no doubt ‘left it all’ for Christ and whose true worth is only known by Heaven. My sincere condolences to the wife, children, the entire family and the church. Adieu, Rev. Muyiwa Olamijulo. Rest in perfect peace.

Baba Olamijulo lived his life, setting a worthy example of how Christian should live.
His calmness displayed his patience, his sound memory and choice of word as an interpreter, always show the Christian graces upon him. I used to see him as an uncommon man, living like an angel among us.
His leadership style even as narrated by many whom he led and mentored was top notch, I am fortunate to pass through the tutorlage and mentorship of some of his trainees and I saw and looked up to him with great admiration.
I wish and pray that God should help me to live and finish my course at the foot of Jesus Christ as an overcomer just as the Biblical Giant and Giantess as living Giant and Giantess of faith that I read of in the Bible and those whom I witnessed living exemplary lives among whom is Rev. Olamijulo.

Our dear daddy was an embodiment of love.and care. I could remember being the first set of Youth corpers to serve in the church 1981/82 set. He used to gather us in front of his cabin. Encouraged us and to say what we had have achieved. Working with him was a great blessing. I was previlleged to go on gospel work with him with brother Seweje and Sister Beatrice to take AVS.to Northern state in February 1982
. He was never tired because of the distance .We migbt have got to a place late as 11pm but he would ask us to leave by 4am ythe following day. .His love to me was so wonderful that he used to call me Aunty Remi..On one mother's day I was suprised when he came for a meeting and I sent his food to him in the cabin. He and his wife presented Android phone to me on behalf of all overseers. He was an encourager in the line of knowledge. After my masters degree he used to call me several times to procedd for doctorate degree.To crown it he presented a special gift for my marriage and with his haalth challenge he prayed for me specially which I know God has answered. I missed a father full of encouragemt and love . My prayer is that God should help me to run this race and meet him at the resurrection morn..

His impact and legacy lives on in the lives of countless individuals, families and communities at large. Thank God he is now with his creator, whom he served wholeheartedly.

“The memory of the just is blessed..(Prov. 10:7 KJV).” A Saint of God transitions and joins the Church Triumphant. All is well, then. Good night, my Brother.

I first met Brother Muyiwa in 1969 and interacted with him on and off through the 70s. (His younger brother ‘Soji Olamijulo was my junior in College – a golden smile with a conviction etched in stone). We, also, met in Scripture Union Conferences and once at Anthony Village. He is an EXEMPLARY teacher of the word. He was already in eternity, even then. A Teaching he gave on Moses and Leadership in a Retreat at Ikogosi Hot Water Springs, 1972 or ’73 has stayed with me ever since. It has continuously afforded me wisdom. I mentioned that to a group, just this last week!

It is good to have saints who stand their ground and act as beacons and lighthouses in raging storms. Brother Muyiwa Olamijulo is such a person. We are grateful that he allowed the life of Christ to be lived through him, come rain or shine. I don’t, really, know why I state this with water-colored, tear-stained eyes. Today, we thank God for using you as a blessing in all of our lives. We should have been more grateful to God down through the years.

Good night.

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son (Revelation 21:4-7 KJV).

TRIBUTE FROM G.K. AJAYI

While most people might have known Rev. Muyiwa Olamijulo in the Apostolic Faith Church, I was privileged to know him earlier when I entered the University of Ibadan in 1966 September. He was then in the second year and a devout member of the Ibadan Varsity Christian Union (IVCU). Indeed, he soon became the leader (President) of the Union. Of all the University clubs that competed for membership of freshers, the Lord led me to IVCU after many years of my earnest search for the truth and repeated disappointments. Even though its doctrines were limited, IVCU taught me that salvation was a definite experience and that Christianity is meant to be practical. There they did prove that salvation, the only spiritual experience they knew and preached, bestowed the power to "go and sin no more" My longing heart grabbed the truth and I became a spiritual member. Brother Muyiwa's exemplary leadership was very inspiring. Nothing else mattered to him but the will of God. His superbly disciplined life made him an effective, no-nonsense leader and Christian in the university environment. He was highly consecrated to the extent of giving priority to evangelism over studies almost on the eve of his final degree examinations. When his term expired as the president of the IVCU, and he, unexpectedly, handed over to me, my prayer was that his God would be my God because his shoes were too big for me. To me, he was the nearest to Christian perfection. Both of us left the University with the eagerness to know more of the Lord and His promise for the thirsty soul availed for us, taking us much further than the limited spiritual scope of IVCU. I must add that his decision to come into the Apostolic Faith Church, that is, into the fullness of Bible doctrines, helped mine. My prayer now is that the Lord Who helped him to endure to the end may also help me to be an eternal overcomer like him.
ADIEU MY SPIRITUAL BIG BROTHER.

Olulana Alofe published a tribute .

When I moved to Lagos from Ilé-Ifẹ̀ in November 1987, Rev. J.O Soyinka asked two ministers to mentor me at the headquarters church in Anthony Village. Rev. Emmanuel Temisan whom I became aquinted with then was one and the other I already knew from my childhood, Rev. Muyiwa Olamijulo.

From his visits to Ilésà church in my youth through the Lagos period of my life and his transfer to the East, I was privileged to maintain a close relationship with the man of God.

A man of excellence in many areas of life. There are so many things I learned from him both as a versatile worker in the church and as a man at home. He once showed me practically how to let a spouse know something needed fixing without complaining. I observed him handle a situation at home and then his first wife, Sister Morayo told me that is how he gets her to correct mistakes without making her feel bad. I still remember the scenario as if it happened yesterday.

He more than any minister in the church at the time was the person I discussed my personal problems with. It did not matter if it was in his office at home or if he or I was driving his official car going somewhere, we discussed a lot. He was a sage. A specialist in using pithy statements to impart a lot of wisdom.

When I had to convince Rev. Akazue about my perspective concerning a situation we were at odds about, it was Rev. Olamijulo I called to please help me explain my perspective to him and he came through on my behalf.

I am one of the lucky ones, one of the many who were privileged to have him as a mentor. A 'Paul' to us, each one his 'Timothy' as it were.

I am looking forward to seeing him again on the resurrection morn.

May God continue to console his family, the church and other associates during this difficult time.

*THE MAN OF GOD TO THE CORE : REV. OLAMIJULO* It's like he should not die again , it's like he should live forever , he virtually knew almost everyone who was zealous for the Lord in Anthony church when we were growing up there , how did l come to know this ? When he was the RO of Abuja region , the revered brother NIRAN ADERIBIGBE took me to his office and attempted to introduce me to him , but Rev. Aaron quickly told him that "l know him" l was surprised because all my years of worshipping in Anthony church , l had no single privilege of talking with him one on one but rather just greeting him once a while if l coincidentally ran into him in the course of his movement within the yard . Hhuummn!!! Though , he may not know me as *SOKOTO* yet he confirmed that he knew me very well . *A good Sheperd knows all his sheep and they know him too .* All of us all over the nation and by extension many in Africa and beyond knows our *chief priest* in *Rev. Aaron Ademuyiwa Olamijulo* Our Africa Oveseer that never was . But our strongest consolation we have for him is that he was no doubt one of the *God's Generals* that has ever lived . We are really praying to the great God of Heaven to give us his kind of *uncommon Grace* in the mighty name of Jesus . Aaaaammmeeennn . This is a must if we must live with Rev. Aaron in the bosom of *Abraham* We had lost a rare Gem . May God please console us all in Apostolic Faith the World over . We really thank God for his *EXAMPLARY* life which he lived among us here on Earth ....

I celebrate the exit of a great spiritual icon of our day. A man of the Spirit and of the word. A preacher of holiness. I celebrate a man of great sacrifice who chose to lay his all on the alter for the service of the master he loved so dearly. I remember when he was 70 years, the church in Abuja gathered money to celebrate him, he humbly refused the offer choosing rather that the money be used for other important and urgent need of the church. He is so down to earth in his unwavering commitment to the course of heaven. Daddy, you came, you saw and conquered. I have no doubt you have gone for a great and worthy heaven reward. Your exit might seemingly be a loss to us still on this side of eternity, but certainly a gain for heaven. We love you but God loves you more. Sleep on great soldier of the cross.

Brother Muyiwa as we fondly called him genuinely cared and wanted the best for everyone around him. He became my mentor when I made the decision to serve the Apostolic Faith Church during my NYSC in 1983. He provided encouragement in every area of life irrespective of your age. He is definitely gone to meet the Lord whom he tirelessly worked for. "Sleep on, beloved, sleep and take thy rest upon thy Saviour's breast."

Dear beloved Rev. Aaron Olamijulo, you finished your course just about your 80th birthday. You kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for you a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give you at that day (2 Timothy, 4:7-8). You were straight as a ramrod in the pursuit of the virtues of a follower of Christ. You were a potent vessel through which the Word was soft-spokenly preached and which pierced sin-sick souls and won them for Christ. Your service to the Lord in The Apostolic Faith all over Nigeria and Africa is testament to your commitment to carrying the banner of Christ flying high. You played a significant role in my Christian life for 40 years, from 1983 till you were called to glory on November 2, 2023 for which I am grateful. Rest in peace dear Bro Aaron Olamijulo.

Ezekiel Odunsi published a tribute .

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we gather to pay tribute to a remarkable man, a true paragon of excellence. Rev. Aaron Olamijulo was not merely a man, but a shining beacon of wisdom, kindness, and inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know him.

As a mentor, he guided us with unwavering support and wisdom, offering sage advice and encouragement during our most challenging moments. His wisdom was a wellspring of knowledge, and he shared it generously, nurturing the growth of countless individuals.

Rev. Olamijulo's role as a father extended beyond his own family, as he embraced everyone with the warmth and love of a true patriarch. His compassion knew no bounds, and his actions spoke louder than words. He exemplified the essence of what it means to be a father, offering guidance, love, and a steady hand in times of need.

As a teacher, Rev. Aaron was a master in his craft, imparting knowledge with an enthusiasm that was infectious. He instilled a love for learning that continues to influence us today. His dedication to education and personal growth was an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire generations.

But perhaps one of the most remarkable aspects of Rev. Aaron's character was his gift as a friend. He possessed an exceptional ability to forge deep and lasting connections with those around him. His presence was a source of comfort and joy, and his friendship was a treasure to be cherished.

I can remember few days to my wedding, baba tutored me and my wife separately for hours. I was even wondering what exactly he was discussing with my wife to be. But with an encounter with him you won't realise when time flies away.

Rev. Aaron Olamijulo's passing leaves a void that cannot be easily filled, but his memory will forever remain etched in our hearts. He has left behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and kindness that will continue to guide and inspire us.

As we sorrow for the departure of this exceptional man, let us also celebrate the gift of his presence in our lives. Rev. Aaron Olamijulo will be highly missed, but his impact will live on in the lives he touched and the lessons he shared.

Rest well dear friend, mentor, father, and teacher. Your memory will be cherished, and your influence will endure. Thank you for gracing our lives with your exceptional presence.

[11/4, 9:47 PM] Adebisi Olufemi: A TRIBUTE TO MY BELOVED FATHER MY HERO.
To my amazing Dad, my hero, I want to say thank you. Thank you for being there for me every step of the way. Thank you for your guidance, your support, and your unwavering love, your mentorship. I can never put into words how much you mean to me, but I hope this tribute may come close.
A great Icon has fallen. I was shocked when I heard about your death. Father’s do so much for their family they work tirelessly to make sure that my family needs are met. My dad AARON OLUMUYIWA OLAMIJULO, was a strong intelligent, dedicated, honest and God-fearing man of God indeed, he sacrificed his years doing good for humanity , without wanting or expecting anything in return. My dad set an example to others for his integrity , Humility and loyalty. There wasn’t anything my dad wouldn’t do to make our life better. His joyful and positive spirit was remarkable, along with his acceptance of everyone he knew. I call him my HEROE because he was a dedicated leader and gave his all in everything he set his heart to do all to the glory of God and I always felt so proud of him for who he was. Now he is in the afterlife we still feel so proud of him. We all wish we can make death go away from the face of the earth, but death is sadly part of life and inevitable. Goodbye, my SUPER HERO dad. You will always live in my heart. Adieu Papa Your Beloved spiritual son.
'OLUFEMI & COMFORT ADEBISI.
