Cottar Michaud published a comment Nancy proudly displaying a specific finger. This became a familiar view to me whenever she found my commentaries distasteful. |

Cottar Michaud published a comment Nancy in the backyard of 419 Peru with Sierra, a stray who secretly jumped in her van on the way home from the mountains. He adopted us, was the first pet of my childhood. |

Cottar Michaud published a comment I loved these lamps. I wished she made more of them. I still have the one on the right. They light up a room beautifully like a colorful mood light, and they were some of my favorite pieces of her work. |

Ginny Miller published a comment Nancy was so easy to get to know with that beautifully patterned pastels of hair! She said to me several times, as we age we become invisible, so color was her ageless response. I loved sharing a Senior Center times with her. Let’s celebrate a woman who truly lived an authentic life!

Cottar Michaud published a comment Blue was my Mom's favorite cat, I think. A real lover. He was around 16 yrs old when we gave over care of him to one of my Mom's neighbors - the neighbor is a young lady who is a vet tech and an animal lover, so he got a good home.:) |

Amy published a comment In San Mateo, Christmas-time 2018. Jan and Nan always took a photo of just the two of them whenever we gathered. There are probably a series of these photos over the years.

Sherri Thurman published a comment Nancy was one of a kind who knew no strangers. She was a wonderful friend taking me shopping, quilting retreats and meetings. There were many times when we would get lost (I am no navigator) but she always found her way! Any photo opt she always made sure she had her lipstick on. She was always thrilled to surprise everyone with her rainbow hair and people young and old liked it and commented on it. She was a good friend who I will truly miss. RIP my friend.

|
Cottar Michaud published a comment Thank you Sherri! Yep my mom called the lipstick thing "putting on her face." |

I will truly miss my loving and artistic neighbor. When I moved to Estudillo Street in January of 2006 she embraced me right away.We did our first open studio and she asked me to set up in her backyard.

Geri Davis published a comment Nancy and I met briefly, several times at the Senior Center. I was just joining the Jazzercise class and she was leaving, she was obviously well known and loved by the people there. I was fascinated by her hair and the explanation she gave made so much sense. The fact that she took the time to talk to me, and her warm personality just drew me in, she is an unforgettable person. So glad that I got to meet you, Nancy.
