It was with incredible shock and sadness that I learned of Arun’s passing. Him and I were boys since he moved down to Clear Lake from New Jersey. I will always remember him for his silly sense of humor, welcoming demeanor and his spectacular use of thesaurus words. My fondest childhood memories are just hanging out with him at Paul’s house playing basketball and just bull-shitting together. I didn’t realize it then, but those times was as care-free as we were ever going to be before life took over. Arun, I am sincerely sorry for not being a better friend to you. I foolishly thought we had more time to reconnect and I lost that opportunity. Nevertheless, I miss you and I’ll see you on the other side. Godspeed, my friend.
