One of the memories I have of Marty, is of playing basketball with him and David in the backyard of Glen Orme Ave. It must have been somewhere near 1993. I was in my basketball prime (not that higher level it turns out), and when Marty invited me to play 1 on 1, I looked forward to scholing him and Dave on their backyard court. Well as things turned out, it was me that was taught a lesson. Memory has it both he and David destroyed me, but I do remember Marty inparticluar being a great player, and me being somewhat sheepish after the lesson was received. I do hope Marty is now at peace, and re-living the days of peace without a care in the world. Go Kangas. Much love to Sheehy family. xx

Marty - thank you for being such a supportive husband to Karen and wonderful father to Ted. We have such happy memories of our friendship over the past 23 years. This is one of my favourite photos of you and Karen at our wedding in 2006. We are so sad that you have gone so soon. But we have wonderful memories to keep us smiling during these difficult times. Thank you - rest in peace.

I was so saddened to receive the news Marty had lost his battle - but boy, did he put up a great fight. My deepest sympathy go out to Karen and Teddie, and his family. I am sure the love and joy he gave you will leave you with wonderful memories. Rest in peace Marty - you will never be forgotten.
