Jonathan Hark

Jonathan tragically passed at home on April 3 as a result of COVID-19. Words are never adequate in moments like these, but we wanted to offer our heartfelt condolences to all who knew him. The loss is so sudden and heavy, coupled with Jonathan's vivacious spirit, it makes the loss unfathomable. Jonathan was a true pioneer in safety, and facilities operations. His guidance and leadership along with his tireless work during so many disasters have helped to shape the industry in regards to critical safety and preparedness. Jonathan's many hours at the Suffolk County Emergency Operations Center were a testament to his dedication, and commitment to the us all. He was a dedicated father and son, and he will be missed.
