Helen Roybal, 85, of Chamisal, NM passed away on April 13, 2023. She is preceded in death by her spouse, Roy Roybal, sisters, Lucy Martinez and Ermelinda Pacheco, brothers, George Vasquez and Isaac Martinez, parents, Mateo and Maria Vasquez She is survived by her brother, Jimmy (Ida) Vasquez, children, Debra Pacheco (Frank), Elizabeth Roybal (Lloyd), Donna Romero (Santiago), Roy Roybal Jr. (Evelyn), Randy Roybal, Troy Roybal and Vivian Borrego (Andrew), many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
Rosary will be recited on May 11, 2023 at 11 AM at St. Anthony Church in Penasco with funeral mass to follow at 12 PM with interment to follow at the Chamisal Cemetery.

My sincere condolences to Auntie Donna and the Roybal Family. I am so sorry for your loss. I loved Helen. I always have thought of her and Roy as my honorary grandparents. Helen was always so welcoming and always made me feel at home. She was such a hard worker, a great cook, and always wanted to feed everyone whether you were hungry or not.
