Bryan Marvin Frazer

Bryan Marvin Frazer passed away on March 12, 2025 in Acton, Massachusetts at the age of 75, surrounded by his family.

Bryan was born February 20, 1950 in Terre Haute, Indiana. He had a lifelong love of music, from playing the drums to appreciating everything from Chopin’s Nocturnes to free jazz to the Grateful Dead. An avid winemaker, he enjoyed crafting his own wine in his San Francisco garage, and always had a special fondness for a good Sauterne with chocolate.

He raised his family in Terre Haute while running a business, and enthusiastically participated in bike riding, soccer coaching and pinewood derby with his kids. He shared a love of International foods with his family through frequent trips to restaurants in Indianapolis.

Known for his sharp mind and resourcefulness, Bryan approached every challenge with determination and intensity. Science guided him throughout his life. He was a lifelong learner, and spent his free moments reading and sharing his knowledge and experiences with others.

Bryan is survived by his wife, Cheryl; his children, Alex (Ruslana) and Rachel (Jack); his granddaughter, Sasha; and his five brothers and sisters. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
