Reggie always acknowledged others. Whether it was with a hug or, if too crowded a venue, with a smile and a wave across the room. She had a special way of acknowledging others, always taking the time to be there... I saw Reggie as a big fish in a big pond (she'd hate that I said that, but she was...) She took the time to make others feel special and loved and teased and included. I felt a little taller standing next to Reggie, like I knew more than I did. She had that effect on people. I had been in the program for over 10 yrs but had just relocated back to Ft Myers. It's always a bit intimidating for me to reach out so I decided to attend a weekend retreat. The very first day Reggie sat across from me, she teased me, laughed at and with me and did what we are taught to do. She made me feel extremely comfortable and helped me to get right back into the swing of things. I am forever grateful for the "Reggie's" out there. We bumped into each other once in a while afterwards and she never forgot who I was. We've lost another.good one here. RIP. ❤
