Ways you can honor Lynn's memory:
Lynn Woodson, 67, passed away on March 5, 2026, with loved ones and her beloved dog, Stella, by her side.
Born on July 2 in Valdese, NC, Lynn was the child of Doris Golightly and Arnold Lindsay. Throughout her life, Lynn was guided by a deep and abiding faith in Christ, which shaped the way she loved others, served her community, and faced life’s joys and challenges.
Lynn was known for her love of Elton John, dessert, and animals, and took immense pride in being a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
Lynn is survived by her husband, Ben Woodson; children, Natasha Crain, Lindsay Barber, and Joanna Woodson; grandchildren, James Gurley, Taylor Burleson, Jarren Crain, and Callum Barber; and great grandchildren, Elizabeth Gurley and Davina Peralez; nephew, Kenneth Golightly, Jr., and nieces, Alissa Button, and Kayla Kelly; and her lifelong best friend, Rita Freeman.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Golightly, father, Arnold Lindsay, and brother, Kenneth Golightly, Sr.
Those who knew Lynn take comfort in the promise of eternal life and the assurance that she now rests in the presence of the Lord.
A celebration of life will take place at Wingate Baptist Church on April 11 at 12PM.
