Always In Our Thoughts, Forever In Our Hearts.
Linda passed away peacefully after a 3 year long battle with breast cancer on November 1st, 2013. She was a devoted mother to Sara, and Jeffrey and wife of Bill Hughes. Linda's life was dedicated to her greatest passion: caring for her patients. After completing her Nursing degree, she happily worked long hours at Chicago General up until two years before her passing. She would always come home and tell us all the amazing stories about her patients life. She loved playing outside with her children, watching Sara play soccer, and relaxing at home with her crochet. The family would like to thank the staff and doctors at Chicago general for taking such great care of her during her time of need.

It has been 7 years since we lost you, yet it feels like yesterday. You are in our hearts and our minds all the time. Sara is in college and doing well - studying nursing just like you. You would be so proud of her.
She rescued a new dog- his name is Jake. He is a big and fluffy husky. You would HATE all of his shedding, but he has brought so much joy into our lives.
We love you. Always and Forever.
We will see you in heaven.
