He was my Principal in my whole career of 13 years of school. He was very nice looking person. He was very disciplinary person and he had a great vision to look school in a very discipline manner and have to be no.-1 in the entire zone. All the students had to be well dressed, decenct and educated.

I fondly remember Mr Negi. He was a good looking gentleman. I remember he taught us Geography in a very interesting way. Though he was a strict disciplinarian but was a kind hearted person. I had ample opportunities to meet and talk to him being part of core group of bhavanites association. He interacted with all the members of core group in a very friendly way. We would bang into his office without any permission but he never objected to it. We could discuss anything with him and he would give his precious advice in all the matters as he was very knowledgeable. He will be missed missed by me very much.

Mr. Negi never taught me geography. I have very vivid memories of him though. I remember him coming for dinner with his bride to Mrs. A.Singh’s house as a newly wed couple. Mrs. Singh was my neighbor. I have memories of him at school, making a handsome figure in the NCC Naval uniform. In today’s corporate world, he had the aura of a rising star and someone on the fast track, whose potential was going to be harnessed . He did live up to that!
And so many students benefited from it. Thank you, Sir for your devotion to education.

Mr. Negi was a visionary and a guiding force for both BVB students and teachers. His constant focus on uplifting both academic and sporting excellence of school was much appreciated by all. A gentle soul, a visionary and truly an inspiration for everyone in school, Mr. Negi's passion and commitment towards teaching and making BVB world class will forever remain etched in our hearts. He will be missed!

A multifaceted personality-- Mr. Negi was extremely eloquent, spiritual, a true highly learned gentleman spent a great deal of time in reading. It is this nature of voracious reading that he was at the center of his humility and self effacing personality. Very active,agile, energetic, a man of unflagging spirits and zeal are some of the words that come to my mind when I think of Mr. Negi 's painstaking efforts to take the institution to great heights. Students and teachers loved him because they could approach him with their problems and be assured of a patient hearing.He maintained the dignity of his office through words and deeds and will always be a role model. He was charismatic, caring, committed, crystal clear, creative, competent,courageous and crazy for work. Though he may not be physically present among us but he will remain alive in our memories due to his qualities, his humbleness, his excellent language ability sweet ,nature and humane personality. Such a immensely lovable great personality is born one among several thousands.

"To Sir with Love"..very fond n proud of Mr.Negi.His cool,sober,charming personality n ever smiling face put him at an edge..He was a devoted n an outstanding teacher loved n revered by all.Being a 1982 batch alumni, I applaud him for his great efforts in making us love Geography n enabling me to excel in it n do him proud !!

My interaction with Negi Sir was very less but I remember him as a well dressed and a very good looking but strict principle .Once I remember our Geography teacher dnt come and Negi Sir came in to teach us and he drew the map of India on the black board without even looking at it We were all stunned .
He was a kind soul and we all loved him .

Negi Sir ,our geography teacher and then the principal when I joined back as faculty in Bhavan. A personality that was loving,caring but stern at the same time. His love for Bhavan’s and his staff was immense. He motivated me to have an art exhibition and stood by me through the show. I miss him almost every day. Those were the days,the golden Era!!!

Negi Sirs voice was different. It resonated tough shell and gentle command, so was his English and Hindi. It still reverberates in my mind. A warm person with a priceless smile, he filled in big boots with grace, passion and commitment. Always humble. Amen.

Mr. G.S Negi was a true visionary, an erudite educationist- a friend, philosopher and guide for all teachers and students. His calm and composed persona, His passion for reading, His dedication to the cause of education, His attitude of caring and sharing, a strict disciplinarian yet full of love and compassion, simple, knowledgeable yet so humble makes him stand apart with a class and stature beyond measure. He was instrumental in establishing Bhavanites Association and initiating the prestigious Dewang Mehta Memorial IT Symposium in collaboration with NASSCOM and Bhavanites.He was totally dedicated and devoted to make reforms in the field of education and loved children from the core of his heart.
The true and deep feelings of love and respect for Negi Sir cannot be expressed in words. I salute him for being a role model who has touched and shaped thousands of lives.

I always remember Mr. Negi as - a thorough Gentleman, a man of few , but very impactful words communicated with piercing clarity, strong on discipline but with a compassionate and embracing smile. These reflections, have remained a source of inspiration over the years. I am fortunate and blessed to have been his student. May God Bless his Noble Soul.

Once a lifetime, one gets amazing teacher. To whom as a student we feel secured and protected, guided on right path under leadership of great mentor. To me Sir was like father figure, full of positivity and a great mentor. He will remain alive in our heart forever.

Mr. Negi... the epitome of elegance, class and poise.
The teacher who reminds you of the movie 'To Sir With Love'.
He was distinctly different... Unlike most of teaching fraternity, he had fewer words to share, but those words were always apt to set the expectations... His personal touch, his sensitivity were so warm and real, that he instantly could connect with us, his pupil.
Teachers are expected to carve the minds of their students, and we the crop of BVB were fortunate to have some of the most amazing impressionists as our teachers. I have no doubt that Mr. Negi left an everlasting impression on the lives of every student, he touched through his guidance and teaching.
Sir, you will always rule our hearts and lead our principles....

Our respected Negi Sir was a committed , inspiring and passionate Guru , though strict but calm & composed. His energetic approach to teaching and learning invigorated the students and kept them focussed. He made Geography simple , easy & fun loving subject. He was always smartly dressed & punctual. My teacher, then my Principal and most importantly, my mentor Negi Sir left an indelible impression on everyone whose lives he touched. He was the one who encouraged me to do MCA while I was teaching Computer Science at BVB. A great follower of Swami Vivekananda, he imbibed his teachings in every sense. An excellent orator and a soft spoken and understanding administrator, he was intimidating but at the same time, widely loved by his students. It was indeed a golden era in Bhavan under his leadership.

Mr Negi was our Geography teacher, when joined the school. He used to draw the map of India, so effortlessly and quickly. He always took pains to see that each one of us understood the subject he was teaching. He was also responsible for conducting the NCC training in the school. He was very soft spoken person. Since I was a Science student, I did not interact with him much except during the NCC training. Last time I met him was when he was the Principal of the school and I was invited to the school in Sep 1999, to talk to the school children about my experience in Kargil war. His dedication towards the school was unquestionable. A great personality, who would be missed always.

Mr.Negi Sir was a great Teacher not because he taught his subject well but because he taught Life Lessons which makes us what we are today!

Dear Mr.Negi was an enigma! He was so strict his slaps would resound through the building but he was so gentle that you had to bow down closely to hear what he was saying. He never taught a class in our time but on the one occasion he did, everyone was moved by how much passion he brought to the an elective everyone was too keen to bunk. I have enjoyed just walking up to his home and saying hello in my senior years and even after I passed out from school. Was greeted with a smile and a lemonade and last I saw him in person was at the back lane of cursing road picking vegetables for his family! To the man of steely appearance and generous smile!

I was called in his office as I was not able to clear any of my maths exams it was my class 10th boards he very politely asked what’s the problem and I said sir I don’t like the subject but I will work hard and not fail in finals he said I trust you and you will get your admit card. He was a man with charm and grace For me BVB always ment
Mr. G.S.Negi. Some people never go into the light he is one of them he is still alive in the hearts of students and lucky were those who saw him in school he was always at the gate in morning greeting all the students his compassion towards others made everyone fall in love and respect towards him.

It was year 1979, I was in class 9 and Mr Negi was our class teacher. As he had other administrative responsibilities, i helped him in making report cards. He ordered tea and samosas ,I suddenly felt like an adult ,an equal. This is how he treated his students, with faith in their abilities.
And who can forget the Indian map he would make on the black board. Till today it is itched in our memory. Geography still remains my favorite subject.
A true gentleman, he left an impecable impression on all his students. Such gems are rare to be found.

Learned a lot from negi sir , self discipline , integrity in life. Sir used to inspire people by giving valuable lessons from swami Vivekananda's life which are still stuck in my memory. His focus on improving soft skills is something that stays with us
