Drive Through Celebration

UPDATE - Due to severe weather in the forecast for Friday, the drive through celebration will be held on Saturday the 29th at 4:00 pm instead. The weather looks much better for that day! Please join us as we honor and celebrate the life of our Matt Pearson, so loved and so missed. We will have a drive through parade starting at 4:00 pm on Friday, August 28th. It will begin at Oregon High School located at 456 N. Perry Parkway. Meet in the main parking lot adjacent to the football field and tennis courts for instructions. If you'd like to decorate your car with signs or streamers, balloons or window paint, feel free! (If you want to, not necessary). His favorite color was royal blue; he loved the Cubs, OHS and UW Madison. He loved basketball and soccer. Most of all we know he loved his family and friends, so if you can make it safely, please come. If you would like to take home a painted memory rock, there will be a limited number available at the event. We would love to see you there! We are planting a sugar maple tree in Matt's honor at a new park being built in Oregon called the Highlands of Netherwood Park. Matt's tree was donated by Ganshert Nursery and we so appreciate their kindness. Directions to visit the tree and see the memorial plaque can be found at the links below. We hope that you will get a chance to see it. It will be near a new soccer field at the park, just what Matt would have loved.
