William Frisch

William P. Frisch (Bill) of Punta Gorda, FL (formerly of New City and College Point, NY), devoted husband, dad and grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, died after a brave and brief battle with leukemia on December 19, 2022. Born on December 15, 1956 in Pittsburgh, PA to Robert and Jean Frisch (deceased), Bill is survived by his wife Jane, daughters Katie and Patricia, son Billy, and grandson Patrick, as well as brothers Bob, Tom, Dan, sisters Gerry and Chris, in-laws Jimmy, Patty, Glenn, and Alison, their spouses, and many nieces and nephews. Bill worked at Amalgamated Bank, NYC, for over 40 years and he was an indispensable part of their computer operations.  He recently retired to Florida in hopes of enjoying the sun and relaxation he so richly deserved, and to be closer to his grandson Patrick whom he adored. Bill put family above all else and always thought of others before himself. Everyone who knew Bill has a “Bill Story”, whether it was an adventure from his youth or a heartwarming story about his family; you could not help but be affected by his sweet nature and good heart. He was generous and kind, hard-working and devoted to his family. He laughed big and loved hard and would help anyone in need.
