Robin Fe Samelson, 65 resident of Santa Fe, passed away on October 17, 2019 due to heart failure. She was born on December 7, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Marilyn and Abe Samelson.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Marilyn & Abe Samelson and brother; Chuck Samelson.
She is survived by her sisters; Michele Samelson and Lori Neumann.
She was looking forward to a new beginning in Santa Fe continuing her extraordinary work as a Behavior Specialist. Robin helped many and is now at peace.
A special Thank You to St. Vincent Hospital for their compassion, empathy and care.

Robin was a special soul caught in searching for meaning. I hope she is at peace. I will always remember her and frankly I got to know Robin when she wrote a profile of me for Moment Magazine. She was dedicated to telling the story in a way that spoke to her journalism ethics. I will always be grateful for the product and the time we spent. Indeed a very special women.

Robin has been a very dear and important friend to me for over 40 years. We met thanks to her Aunt Mildred, in Palo Alto, Ca. She and I worked together on teen theater, where she directed two productions at the South Peninsula JCC. She was a hugely creative, talented, and dedicated youth worker and artist, gifted beyond words in technology and innovative ideas. Her love of people, family, storytelling, media, and helping those who needed positive change in their lives shaped who she was. Her move to Santa Fe was another challenge to meet new people, continue her story and help those she could along the way. But perhaps her finest gift was her absolute devotion as a friend. Through every storm, across many oceans and miles, Robin remained a strong, deeply compassionate, empathic friend to me. I can never repay her loyalty or devotion, but I shall forever hold her memory in my heart. The world has lost a very special person. I pray her dear soul rests in peace for eternity.
