Coach Sweeney was instrumental in bringing me to Santa Fe in the mid sixties. He gave me a chance to play basketball and get a college degree. I am sad that it took me this long to learn of his passing. Thank you Coach.

My sincere condolences to the Sweeney family. Coach Sweeney was my advisor at the College of Santa Fe and was very supportive of me. I could go see him anytime in his office and was never told that he was too busy. After I graduated (1982) I would still go back to watch a basketball game and Coach would just wave me in. My prayers are with the entire Sweeney family.

My deepest condolences to the Sweeney Family. My Dad and Bob were great friends, and served on the Santa Fe School Board together (Gilbert E. Martinez) . I was a very young child when my Father passed, but I always heard stories from my Mom Frances about the Sweeney Family. May God bless you all.

Bob aka Coach Sweeney was such an influence on us. Chris so admired him and all that he stood for in this life. He will be missed by so many people, including us. Love to Lena and all the family. His picture was taken at Fox Acres in Colorado when Bob and Lena came to visit and play some gold. Love, Chris and Rosemary Dowdell
