Richard "Ricky" Herman Johnson

Richard "Ricky" Herman Johnson was born August 23, 1958 to James "Jimmy" Everett Johnson. He went to school in Vidor, TX. He married Cathey Dalfrey on April 10, 1988. He was a boilermaker and a musician. He enjoyed playing his guitar and was a talented singer. He was known to have a sharp mind and was witty. Hard headed and short tempered, he would give the shirt off his back to help anyone he could. He will be missed by his family and friends. Ricky was preceded in death by his wife Cathey Johnson, his mother Betty Lou Spears, his father Jimmy Johnson, his stepfather Pleasant "Brad" Love, his sister Alice Love, his aunt Billie Jo Spears and his great niece Kayley Johnson. He is survived by his daughters Charie Johnson of Bridge City, TX, Natashia Crowe of Seabrook, TX, his stepdaughter Tawnya Strother (Robin) of Vidor, TX, his stepson Joseph Segrest (Misty) of Vidor, TX, brother Jay Johnson (Rosa) of Atlanta, Ga, sister Linda Palumbo of Vidor, TX, brother Barkley Wade Love (Phyllis) of Orange, TX, sister Celese Love of BonWeir, TX. Grandchildren Hayden Segrest, David Lee Harper, Peyton Odle, Kyra Odle, Corey Burkland and Shelly Burkland. Nephews Luke Palumbo, Nathaniel Johnson, Zackary Johnson, great niece Kinsley Johnson and a host of family and friends who will miss him.
