David Cahill

David P. Cahill III, beloved son, brother, uncle passed away on May 5, 2022. David was born to David and Michele Cahill in Fargo, North Dakota Dec.16, 1979. He grew up in St. Cloud, MN, Prineville, OR and Chaska, MN. A lifelong scholar, Dave started college classes at the age of 15 at Central Oregon Community College where he served as editor of the college newspaper for two years. He received a BA in Philosophy from St. Ambrose University, Davenport, IA, a Masters in Project Management and an Ed. D in Educational Leadership from St. Mary's University, Minneapolis, Mn. He served as an adjunct professor at St. Mary's University. Dave loved his family and his family cherished him. He lived in the virtue of hope. Dave always looked for the sunshine in people, in ideas, in life. He enjoyed cooking, playing golf, and downhill skiing. Survived by parents David and Michele Cahill, brother Michael, nephews Desmond and Orion, maternal grandmother, Cleo Steffl. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Helen Cahill and maternal grandfather, Leo Steffl. A private memorial service to be held at a later date.
