Daniel Freeman

Daniel Freeman, 73, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. He was born on March 22, 1950 in Michigan City, MS, to Charlene Jackson and Benjamin Freeman. Daniel led a life filled with love, laughter, and compassion. He touched the lives of many through kindness and compassion for his family. He will be remembered for his relentless hard work, perseverance and commitment. He served combat during Desert Storm during his 21 years in the Air Force. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and spending evenings with friends, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever. Daniel is survived by wife, Violeta, Children, Sharron, LaTunja (Cory), Daniel (Cynthia) and Lamar (Nicole) and 16 grandchildren. In addition, he has one brother, four sisters and a family who will miss him dearly. A celebration of Daniel's life will be held at Jefferson Mortuary on March 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m Daniel will be deeply missed but will live on in the hearts and memories of all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
