I was a student of the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, University of Maryland. Chris as an Administrator was somebody you could turn to in hard times. I shall be forever grateful to her. May her soul rest in peace.

I am very saddened to hear the passing of Chris Aggour. Chris was a a very kind person with a great sense of humor. She loved reading books and was very hospitable to her guests. She invited us over and treated us like her own family. My condolences to my colleague Sherif and his family. May she rest in peace.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn that Chris has passed away. I first met her in 1995, when she interviewed me for a job at the university, where I worked with her until her retirement in 2006. We got together fairly regularly after that for a number of years, but less and less often as the years accumulated and we each got busier and busier with other things. I was and remain so grateful for all that she taught me, for how warm-hearted, fun, and approachable she was. She talked often of her family and was so proud of them all. My deepest condolences to Sherif, Lora, and Kareem especially, as you process such an incalculable loss.

Chris was my mother in law and accepted me immediately into the family. She was smart, kind, caring, loving, and generous. She loved her grandchildren and made them feel special and cared for. She had many interesting stories about her life in Canada that she liked to share in her later years. I’m glad I got the opportunity to visit Canada with her. She raised two wonderful children Kareem and Lora and I am grateful to be married to Lora. The values that Chris and Sherif instilled in their children have helped make them the amazing people they are today. Chris did also have the best smile and a mischievous side and good since of humor. I wish she could have been around longer to see her grandchildren grow. She will be greatly missed and I hope that she is at peace from the debilitating disease of dementia. We love you Chris!

It's truly a shock and a sad news to hear that Mrs. Aggour passed away. Professor Aggour is a dear colleague/friend of mine. Dr. and Mrs. Aggour were a sweet couple that I have the luck knowing them for many years. I know they enjoy being together and with their family members. Now, she is gone. Prof. Aggour, our deepest condolences to you and your family!... C. C. & Chaulung Fu
