Timothy James Pipkens
9 de junio de 1952 - 2 de enero de 2021
9 de junio de 1952 - 2 de enero de 2021
Timothy James Pipkens, 68, born on June 9th, 1952. He grew up in Dearborn, Michigan graduating from Edsel Ford High School. Tim completed his bachelors Degree at Western Michigan University in 1974. He married Doris on October 16, 1976. He worked as a Senior Claims Adjuster for Farmers Insurance for over 25 years years retiring in 2005. Tim passed away on January 2, 2021 at the age 0f 68.
After a very long, serious, and painful battle with sepsis bacteremia Tim showed his courage in fighting life’s challenges with a smile. Despite the pain. At the time of his death He was surrounded by his loved ones, virtually and physically, who will honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
First and Foremost, Tim's pride was in his family. He was a devoted, loving, and faithful husband, father and JaJa (grandpa) who loved his children and grand children more than anything else. “Anything for the kids” was the motto in his house. With each of his children he had an incredible bond that he shared with just them.
The simplest pleasures in life brought the greatest joy to Tim. Bonfires, talks, music, thunderstorms, long rides, fishing events, cube and corn hole were just a few of the things that Tim loved to do with family and friends. Sitting at the lakefront and watching the sunsets with just one beer brought him the great pleasure.
Tim's pleasant personality and “that smile” was contagious to everyone he greeted. He was so many things to so many people. He was loving, kind, thoughtful, humble, patient, and generous. Because of all this, Tim's love of life did not end with his death.
Tim was greatly loved and will be missed by: his wife, Doris; his son TJ (wife Erin) and soon to be Baby Booster; his son Chad (wife Melanie) and grand daughter Emerie; his daughter, Megan and grand daughters Makayla, Devon, and Colby; his brother Bob Pipkens; his sister, Jody House; brother-in-law Gary House; his sister Sheri Ervin; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives, along with many friends. Tim will be reunited with his parents, Carl Pipkens and Jean Praster.
Tim has been and will continue to be greatly missed.

Some of the best times were with Tim at the high school soccer games. Tim and I would keep stats for the coaches ( Doris and Brad) and it was fun to see the freshman parents that didn’t know us trying to figure out if Tim and I were married. Then there was the “de-briefing” meetings after the games. Florida Spring Breaks are another special memory with Tim! Good times and fond memories. Tim was a very special person and I’m so lucky to have spent special times with him.

Uncle Tim was the best! He was fun and full of life ... I remember that as a kid spending time with him & Aunt Doris as well as an adult. The memory that always makes me smile is cruising Higgens Lake in the boat, going fast with the music blasting songs like Don’t Rock The Boat ... and that is how he did it....sailed with a cargo full of Love & Devotion for his family and everyone whose life he touched. Uncle Tim...RIH....you will be greatly missed

Tim always had a smile on his face! He just always seemed to be having a good time no matter what he was doing. We shared watching so many soccer games over the years from when the girls were young through high school years. He will be missed!

Remembering Tim with positive thoughts is easy- a man that was kind, fun loving and made all who met him feel important. He listened well, laughed easily and was always willing to play. Our families met when our sons were entering grade school and have many happy memories, soccer games, euchre parties, and neighborhood events. Thank you Tim, rest peacefully.
