Tim Tomlinson

Whether it was during Tim's life or after his death the consistent feedback given from anyone that encountered him was that he had a servants heart. Tim was invested in making another person smile even if it came at a cost to him personally. This quality was a place he operated from in every facet of his life personally and professionally. This thread Tim shared is woven into the fabric of every person that knew the joy of sharing life with him. So just as any garment has many pieces of thread woven together, so are each of our lives; in this way the effect that Tim had on the world and in each of our lives continues on. A little less known quality about Tim was that he had a heart to cultivate things. He really enjoyed getting his hands in the dirt and planting almost anything, then faithfully watering it and watch it grow. Tim would see this time in each of our lives exactly the same way. There is a goodness that Tim left in all of us and while there is sorrow for the loss of his presence, the seeds he planted in each of us are meant to grow, blossom and be given away. In that way Tim's legecy lives on inside of each of us, and for as long as each of us draw breathe here on this side of the sun; the love that Tim chose to share with each of us will grow and become a way to remember one of God's very special gifts.
