Sam Raty

I first got to really experience Sam during Markus' epic stag party journey down to Nashville and back. A bunch of shirtless guys flying around on unsecured deck chairs in the back of a sauna-like humid cube van, dodging heavy sliding coolers of beer (and each other) when the driver purposefully slammed on the breaks during a rain storm...enough said. Sam's grit, love of life and true strength of character shone through then, and I knew immediately that he possessed that same genetic gift transcending the Raty family. Rest in peace Sam.
