Mike Smith

I am devastated to learn so late of the death of Mike. He worked with me when my family and I moved back to Walnut Creek after 10 years in Boston. We bought a new home in WC and for many years Mike and I made it my home. His eye for color was amazing. He touched every room in my house in some fashion. I first learned of Mike in a local magazine article which featured him. From then on, he was the guy. Sometimes I ran into him in town because he didn't live far away. I knew some of his stories and he knew some of mine. Such a gracious and generous man with a great sense of humor who enjoyed mine. Our mutual painter, Tom Max told me the news today. I wanted to share my thoughts for Mike's friends and family, even though it's been months since he passed away.
