Lisa E. Bredeson

Lisa E Bredeson, longtime resident of Scottsdale Arizona, passed away on February 24, 2021 from complications of metastatic breast cancer. Her rare form of aggressive cancer is the only thing that has been able to take down The Tenacious Lisa B. She is survived by her lovingly devoted daughter, Emily (Bredeson) Tickhill, son-in-law Justin Tickhill, two adoring grandsons Walter and Henry Tickhill, and four siblings: Laura Bronwell, Linda Bredeson, Lucy Bredeson-Smith, and Eric Bredeson. Lisa built a successful career in financial services and held executive positions for more than 20 years, while striving to develop effective and ethical future business leaders. Refusing to settle for the status quo and sometimes known to be a "feather ruffler," personal integrity, doing the right thing, and improving organizations were always at the forefront for Lisa, regardless of the political consequences. In 2009, she started her own leadership consulting practice and blog site, Leadership with Integrity. In recent years, Lisa pursued her lifelong love of music, frequently attending live concerts and writing about her experiences online at SalierisLine.wordpress.com. She considered the bear, the Native American symbol of strength and wisdom, to be her spirit animal. Lisa loved life in the desert, and enjoyed running and hiking on nearby trails and observing the desert wildlife. Lisa's family came first, whether researching genealogy or organizing a family event, and her daughter and grandsons were the absolute joys of her life.
