It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Laura Anderson, beloved wife of George Anderson, who passed away on November 9, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer that lasted over three years.

 

Born on May 7, 1968, Laura dedicated her life to caring for others as a nurse at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her compassion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to her patients touched countless lives.

 

Laura was not only a devoted professional but also a cherished friend. She shared a close bond with her dear friends Barbara and Nancy, who were a source of love and support throughout her life.

 

She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she shared with her husband, George, who stood by her side through every challenge. Laura’s warmth, generosity, and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

 

A memorial service will be held to honor Laura’s life, with details to be announced by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a cancer research organization in her memory.

 

Laura Anderson’s life was one of service, love, and resilience…a shining example of a life well-lived.
