Dear friends and family of Jared,

Please join us for a celebration of Jared’s incredible life on Sun. June 9th. We’ll gather with loved ones and friends to honor Jared by sharing our experiences with one another and building community around this person who meant so much to so many of us.

The celebration will be built collectively, so we’re inviting everyone to participate in the creation of this experience. We look forward to having this time to connect deeply with one another, to share memories through photographs (we’ll have a timeline of Jared’s life on the wall and invite you to print photos of Jared and add them to the wall); stories (we’ll have chill spaces for intimate conversations with friends old and new); and writing (we’ll offer cards for you to write down memories for others to read but please feel free to have long stories already printed to add). We’ll be creating an altar and invite everyone to bring an item that connects them with Jared to contribute. If there’s an experience or something you want to contribute please let us know. If you can’t attend we would still love to print and share your stories.

The space will transform into a dance party for the final few hours of the celebration, giving us an opportunity to move together and maybe share some of Jared’s iconic dance moves! We hope to create a space that truly honors Jared’s bright spirit and loving heart, a place for us to collectively grieve, rejoice, and move forward with one another and with Jared in our hearts.

Please join us and share this invitation with anyone who you think might like to attend.

We’ve also created this Memorial page to have an online forum to share stories and memories. We hope this can also be a place for everyone to contribute their ideas and energy to this experience. Please use this Memorial page to share your suggestions on how we can most fully realize this celebration.
