David George Goodling

December 15, 1962 May 3, 2019 Mr. David George Goodling, 56, of Auburn, Alabama, who passed away May 3, 2019, was born December 15, 1962. A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00pm, Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home and Crematory with visitation from 2:00pm until 3:00pm. A reception will follow beginning at 4:15pm until 7:00pm at the Flower Store Event Space 2290 Moores Mill Road, Suite 100, Auburn, Alabama 36830. He is survived by his children: John Thomas Goodling, Peyton Elizabeth Goodling, William David Goodling, and their mother Sarah Goodling; his mother: Georgia Goodling; siblings: Robert (Sue) Goodling, Michael Goodling; nieces and nephews: Megan Goodling, Riley Goodling, Britt Goodling, Christopher Goodling; and a host of cousins. Mr. Goodling is preceded in death by his father, Dr. John Goodling. Mr. Goodling was a loving father, an extremely talented engineer, and a great friend to everyone. We will never forget how much he loved to fix up his boat and take his friends and family on rides weekend after weekend, and we hope that more great memories will live on through this page.
