Brian Holmes Mercer

It is with sadness and broken hearts that the family of Brian Holmes Mercer, 66yrs, announce his passing on July 2,2025. Born in Parkersburg to Charles and Janet Mercer. He was preceded in his death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Linda (Feick) Mercer, married 45+ yrs, their children Jonathon Mercer and Heather Hilliard (Robbie). Grandchildren Jonathon Jr and Charlie Mercer, Alexander and Christian Hilliard. And two step grandchildren Landon Shedd and Haylee Fickisen. His brother David Mercer, and sister Nancy(Mike) Williams and family.

 

Brian graduated from PHS entering the USMC in 1976. After serving he worked in various jobs including Worthington Golf Course, ICT and Hildebrand Insurance Agency. The family wants to thank Camden Clark Memorial especially the ICU for their excellent care. Dr Dugan, Dr Yoak, Dr Cartwright, and numerous other physicians. Also Amedisys and Select Specialty Care in Charleston, WV. Mid Ohio Valley Cremation has been entrusted for arrangements. The Family will have a private memorial at a later time.
