I first met Gordon and Katherine while at uni with Mary and from that first meeting I was always been treated with love, warmth and care. I'd often facetime Mary during lockdown and Gordon would always stop by to say hello and see how I'm doing. I miss Gordon's sense of humour including him always saying "Curly whirly" becuase he knew him saying it in his Scottish accent always made me laugh.

This photo was taken in 2019. I am so glad that we all got to see each other on that trip and that Ryan was able to meet Uncle Gordon! He was always so happy and loving to us all.

What a fantastic night, 18 November 2022. We didn’t know it then but it would be the last time we caught up with Gordon. We were all colleagues from 1988 - 1990. We have named the WhatsApp group Nae Grip in his honour and remember some of his best phrases: do you like hospital food, he’s about as much use as a chocolate teapot etc etc! Gordon’s living the high life making people laugh up there now.

Here’s a lovely photo of Gordon and Magnus in Hereford in 2016 when we were there singing. I was busy making sure Ingrid and Nina were ok, only later realising that Gordon had made sure Mag had company and was having a good time, too. A classic example of Gordon being there, so often in the background but ensuring that everyone was doing ok. ❤️X
