Rest on Yetunde. We have been out of touch since we left medical school, (except for Facebook comments few years ago). I still remember you... your good heart, your love for God. You were very friendly, outspoken and always had a smile no matter what. I can only imagine the pain your transition has caused to those closest to you. I cannot believe you are gone but I am depending on the grace of God to pull everyone through this trying time. You left a great impact in the lives of many and even in your death, we are reminded to live a life that will glorify God and be intentional in our relations. May the good Lord, whom you served with your life, keep your family and friends and grant them the fortitude to bear this loss. Rest on my dear! Till we meet at the bosom of Christ.

Oh Yetunde, I'm still in denial that you have gone suddenly like that. It hurts the more that I couldn't keep in touch with you for such a long time except for some comments on Facebook. Your demise is a ride shock to me but my trust is that you have only decided to relocate to heaven and have a good rest. You were such a fine heart to be and to relate with. I remember all those times we spent together in school gisting, reading and discussing life issues. I recently stumbled on a small note your wrote to me to explain your side of the story when we had a little disagreement. You were such a good person. The first thing that got me attracted to you was the way you carried yourself with confidence and swag despite what I would have thought was a "physical disadvantage" I fondly call you my "school mum" because even as colleagues you always got my back. My condolences to the lovely family you left behind- Your husband, Son and daughter. I God will continue to keep and watch over them. I wish this was all a bad dream from which I will wake up from but alas.... Sleep on Yetunde....

That's Yetunde and I about 11years ago when we were inducted into the medical profession. We shared our dreams and aspirations together. I never would have thought it will end like this. Goodnight Yetunde
