William Fredrick Warren

William Fredrick Warren age 63, born April 5, 1959 in Grand Rapids, MI passed away at home Thursday July 14, 2022 with his girlfriend by his side. Cause of death was complications due to a long battle with cancer and recent amputation due to diabetes.

Bill had a love for life, he never gave up hope. He was an inspiration to some because of his very strong spirit and ability to push through his worst times, without giving in or quitting. He was always the optimist. Even at the end he still believed there was much more for him to see and do before he moved on with his journey, wherever that may have taken him.

He is survived by his girlfriend Pat {Davis-Spoelma} Nicely, father William S. (Susan) Warren, his brothers Greg (Sandy) Warren, Jim Warren, children Jared (Tricia) Warren, Brian Warren {Bree Hope}, step-daughter who he loved as his own Katie Wilder {Rob Hoffmeyer}, life-long friend Dan Glashower, grandchildren James, Abby, Dominic, Kole & Logan and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Jessie {Wilder} Warren, step-daughter Shauna Wilder, mother, Janice Desjarden, grandparents Otto (Annabelle) Kuester, and Wayne (Beulah) Warren.

There will be a Gathering of friends and family for Bill Saturday August 27, 2022 between 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Grand Rapids Cremation Services, 3305 Three Mile Rd. NE Grand Rapids, MI 49525. It will be a casual, informal get together of friends and family in honor of Bill. You are welcome to come, share some stories or memories of him or just come be with others who knew and/or love him.
