William "Bill" Dolmage

I invite everyone to share and comment their best “Bill” stories and pictures. My dad had an amazing life and I want to learn and know as much as I can about it. My girls did not realize what a sense of humor my father had until he was in the hospital after his stroke. We went to go visit him to see how he was doing. The girls are quiet, a little shy and unsure of how to be. My dad obviously picked up on that and proceeded to basically started a food fight. Here we were just trying to see if he would eat something and be able to even have the muscle control to swallow his food. Well he did. He also refused to let us help him, insisting he feed himself. Apparently he was “ particular as to who fed him”. Not only did he manage to feed himself he also took it upon himself the ease the tension in the room from my nervous children. He looked around with his spoon and some diced peaches only partially in his mouth and then proceeded to fling his peach across the room at the kids. We are going to miss him so very much but I know he’s there watching looking over us and I’m sure will be pulling a prank or two just to let us know he’s there. He may be gone, but never forgotten and will always be in our hearts.
