William "Bill" Arrott, III
10 de septiembre de 1970 - 21 de enero de 2025
10 de septiembre de 1970 - 21 de enero de 2025
Bill was born in San Leandro, California and left us in Lacey, Washington. He grew up in Castro Valley, California. He also went to school in San Jose, California and Nevada City, California. He was a member of the George Rogers Clark Chapter of the Washington State Society of the Sons of the American Revolution in Olympia, Washington. He was a blood descendant of Private Mathew Shields of the Franklin County Pennsylvania Pioneers. He was proud to be part of the American Revolution and kept the certificate on his wall. He was a very kind-hearted and loving person. He was very mechanically inclined. He could rebuild cars and motors. He loved his family. Bill is survived by his father William Arrott, Jr., stepfather Neal Emory Wells, stepmother Phyllis Sue Groce Arrott Hollers Arrott, sister Christiana Arrott, brother-in-law David Allyn Budlong, nephews Anthony James Arrott, Noah David Arrott and Isaac Patrick Arrott, nieces Katelyn Christine Smith Arrott,. Hailey Eden Arrott and Paige Elaine Arrott. Bill was preceded by his mother Deborah Alice Genise Gunther Arrott Wells, brother William Scott Arrott, sister-in-law Melissa Jill Bell Slagle Arrott Dobbs, grandfathers Rev. William Arrott, Sr. and Mike Genise, stepgrandfather Jack F. Gunther, and grandmothers Edna Patricia Speer Genise Gunther and Jean Faulkner Lucia Geisenberger Arrott Cranstoun. He loved to ride his bike and explore. He was outgoing and would talk to anyone. He loved to help others with anything mechanical. When he was around 9 years old or so he took a tape recorder apart just so he could find out what made it work. His trailer had every mechanical part in the world laid on his table because he was always fixing something or making something. He was always working on his bicycle; everything could always be better in his eyes. He would ride his bike for miles to see where a trail went. He dreamed about driving around the world and exploring new places. Everyone who met Bill would say he is so kind and loving. He really was!! He would take the shirt off his back so to speak for anyone who needed it. No matter what walk of life he treated everyone with the same kindness. Bill was loved by all those who knew him.

Bill was an amazing person and very dear friend of mine , I have so many great memories of us growing up together. I met Bill soon after he moved here from California. I was 14 and he was 16- 1986 I believe…We both loved rock-n-roll, fishing, riding bikes, and of-course chasing girls :) We became instant best friends! Bill always had a smile on his face and laughed at all my jokes (even the stupid ones),he had my back and I had his… I miss his positive energy kindness, and free spirit… Bill will always have a very special place in my heart, thoughts, and memories.I find comfort knowing he is in heaven listening to rock-n-roll and fishing where the fish always bite. Unfortunately I dont have pictues with me to upload but when I get them I will share them with Christy.
