Wilbur Carney Elzy, Jr.

Wilbur Carney Elzy, Jr., "Mr. C” (as he was officially called) was born in Houston, Texas on Friday, February 5, 1988 to Wilbur Carney Elzy, Sr. and Dorothy Marie Elzy.  Mr. C was the fourth child of six siblings. He attended school in Houston, Texas and graduated from Jessie Jackson Academy in 2008. He loved fishing and being around his family and friends dearly. Mr. C learned at an early age that trusting in God and keeping his faith would sustain him throughout the challenges he experienced in life. Mr. C leaves to cherish his memories: a loving mother, Dorothy Elzy; one adorable daughter, Zaria Elzy (mother, Jennifer Green); one brother, Aaron Bryant; four sisters, Connie Morgan, Pamela Elzy, Latashia Elzy and Dawntrece Elzy; 7 nieces and 10 nephews all of Houston, Texas; a special friend, Kamille Harris; and four devoted cousins, C.J., L.J., Tuey, and Brandon; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.   He was preceded in death by: his father, Wilbur Carney Elzy, Sr. and his grandparents.
