Victoria Mana Abla Glikpo, popularly known as Da Mana was born in Ave Dakpa, Volta Region on J uly 1, 1954, to parents Mr. Yaw Glikpo and Mad. Dawuamade Kofitrokpa. She was the fourth of five sisters born. In 1957, Da Mana enrolled in Ave Dakpa R/C Basic School to begin her elementary studies. She resumed her elementary school at the Kede Presby School in 1959 after her family moved to Kede in the Volta Region of Ghana. After the family moved once more in 1960, she finished Junior high school at Fodome Amele R/C elementary school in the Volta Region of Ghana. After graduating from junior high school, she began trading, where she also met Mr. Kofi Amuzu, her first love, and gave birth to two children. After some time, the marrriage fell apart. She fell in love with Mr. Stephen Akorli five years after her divorce and eventually gave birth to five children, four of which are twins. She was farming. She occasionally goes to see her children and grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her grandkids. She was a selfless, devoted and deligent woman. In particular, she adores singing and sharing stories with her grandchildren. She was a staunch presbyterian. Rest in perfect peace Da Mana.
