You exuded light and love, and made people instantly feel seen; you created belonging and that is such a rare and precious thing. I will miss being part of your life, and I just know you’d love getting to see all the people you’ve touched being together in community to remember you. Keep shining Triff, your light lives on so brightly.

Here are the 3 things I was too afraid to say last night: 1. There is no word in English for relationships like the one I had with Triff. We would go years without talking and then meet for breakfast and instantly we were best friends, during third period, laughing about weekend. 2. Triff and I met at Arapahoe High school, in 1987. Octavia, if you read this known that also had a really rough time in high school, and your mom and I talked a lot about you and your high school experience, which was similarly challenging. I have been rooting for you for a long time. I still do; and I will continue too do so always. 3. There is a Greek Choirs in my brain of people talk with, argue with, listen to, and respect. Once of those voices has gone silent. And that makes me very sad, and a little bit lonely. My love goes out to all of you.

Amazing person and friend. I met Triffany as a coworker at BT. Our cubicles were next to each other and she would stand up in her cubicle and face toward mine and just stare, I thought she was staring at me and thought it was odd. But she was really looking out the window and gathering her thoughts. I told my mom and she suggested that I bring puzzles to work and direct her to work on the puzzles. And a great friendship developed. I think we must have completed over 30 puzzles. Triffany you are truly loved and missed.

I am untethered Unbound Hollowed out Who knew so much of what made me me was wrapped up in what made you you. Of course you know, but you don’t know. We had the big moments – marriages, divorce, kids, illness, milestones, jobs, entrepreneurship and so many more. And we had all of the little moments, the daily walks, the quick texts, cards in the mail, thoughts through email, dinners, and lunches, and breakfast…and don’t forget the gelato. We shared so many ideas and wonderments. How many of our conversations started with one of us saying…so I was (reading this article, watching this documentary, talking to my child, talking to a friend, etc) and it made me think about…..what do you think? Triff and I intersected intellectually, philosophically and emotionally in so many ways. I’m not quite sure if any of my ideas are mine, or hers or ours, or maybe we borrowed them entirely from someone else. But I thought I would see if I could come up with some of the lessons, thoughts and beliefs from the last 33 years. Keep in mind, I am no designer. If anyone has anything they’d like to add, send my way and I’ll keep adding and post a new version. And for all of you whom I know, reconnected with, don’t know but should please reach out. My phone is 720-301-7239 and my personal email is freya@Ultrasys.net.

Triffany was such an amazing person. My heart always felt bigger after a conversation with her. She was a very heartfelt and kind person. You could tell she truly cared for others. She was a bright light of warmth and love in this world. Carolyn did a wonderful job raising such a beautiful person. Octavia and Peyton similarily are great people who have the same sense of love, compassion and resilience that Triffany had. My family loves her and her family very much and we send our deepest condolences to her family.

What a bright light Triffany was in the world! Great mom, good friend and an awesome animal advocate. She was strong and brave just like her mom Carolyn. You are loved and missed!
