Sheena Katrina Sanchez

Sheena Katrina Sanchez was born March 11, 1986 in Watsonville, California. Sheena lived most of her years in Santa Cruz. Sheena, one of 7 of the Sanchez Family, her four brothers; James, Leo, David, and Adrian and two sisters Enissa and Janiya. Sheena graduated from San Lorenzo Valley High School. She loved the ocean and spent her time walking and biking by the beach along West Cliff Drive. She enjoyed being in nature whether it was along the coast or hiking in the forest. After losing her mother, Diana, in May of 2008, Sheena struggled greatly. Even through difficult times she persevered and never lost sight of reasons to smile and use her sense of humor. Sheena passed away at the age of 34 from organ failure in the ICU at the Regional Medical Center on the evening of November 27, 2020 at 11:00 pm in San Jose California. She had her family beside her at the time of passing. Sheena is survived by her father James, her four brothers James, Leo, David and Adrian and her sister Janiya. She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Paige Valentina. Sheena’s love for the beach and ocean led to her wish for her ashes to be spread on the beach and in the waves. The Sanchez Family plans to honor her final wishes and to come together to honor and celebrate her life in the near future.
