Sharon Berry/Grysko

Sharon Mae Richardson/Berry/Grysko a well-beloved Mom, Grandmother, Sister, Mentor, Teacher, and amazing friend passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 26, 2019 at the Brandley House facility in Summerfield, Florida.  Sherry was survived by her husband Martin Grysko, her only child David Berry, her Grandchildren  Alexa Berry, Christopher Grysko, Johnathan Grysko and Crystal, her stepson Thor Grysko and her sister Joyce Handley.

Sherry Berry/Grysko was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 1, 1943 to EthelMae and Harry Richardson. Sherry graduated from Shanahan High School in Fort Lauderdale in 1958 and was a leader and educator to so many throughout her lifetime.  Sherry was the first female maître d in Las Vegas in 1977.  

Sherry Grysko dedicated her life to helping those who struggled with addiction.  A respected educator in The Northern Florida chapter of AA and took great pride in that distinction.   Sherry celebrated 30 years of sobriety just before her passing and stated publicly, that was her greatest accomplishment.

Sherry was brite light in her family and friends lives and will be missed more than words can express.
