If I was to describe my grandma with 2 words, it would be tough love. Everyone that knows grandma would likely describe her as “strict” and while the word doesn’t have a great connotation, I like to see it as she was firm in her beliefs. Her actions, corrections and discipline came from a place of love, a love that knew no person or bounds. My hope is if you had the privilege of experiencing this love, you take it with you and continue to remember her by it. Rest well Grandma.

O! Death where is your sting? Our beautiful grandma has gone to be with the Lord, mummy Alade was such a nice woman full of love . In the 10 years I knew mama she was a firm disciplinarians and devout Christian. I knew mama through my son and she would always help him out in giving a whenever he was in school. In our conversations towards the end I knew mummy prepared for her glorious exit and her readiness reassured me of eternal hope. We saw one last time when she had a function and I offered to help her find make up artist and we ended up laughing and playing. Mama has gone to be with the saints and we are glad we would reunite at the trumpet sound. Mama we love you, the entire Adeshina Obaremi street miss you . Sleep on my beautiful one Till we meet at the feet of Jesus. Deaconess Bolajoko Ebebhahon ( mummy Seun) Adeshina Obaremi Street.

In Loving Memory of Mummy Ogba Today, we gather our thoughts and hearts to honour the life of a truly special mummy who left us at the age of 80. Though words often fall short in times like these, we speak them anyway, because her life deserves to be remembered, celebrated, and cherished. Mummy Ogba was not just our uncle’s wife; she was a pillar of strength, warmth, and grace. Her presence filled every room with quiet wisdom, and her kindness reached further than many of us ever knew. She had a way of making you feel seen, heard, and loved whether through a warm meal, a knowing smile, or gentle words of encouragement. Over the years, her life was one of quiet service and deep love. The way she cared for her family, stood by our uncle’s side through every season of life, and extended her heart to those around her will never be forgotten. Though we grieve her passing, we also give thanks. Thanks for the years we were blessed to know her. Thanks for the memories she helped create. And thanks for the legacy of love, resilience, and dignity that she leaves behind. At 80 years of age, she lived a full life but even a hundred more years would never have felt like enough. We will miss her deeply, hold her memory close, and honour her by living the values she embodied: love, compassion, and quiet strength. Rest peacefully, Mummy Ogba You were dearly loved, and you will be missed. The Akran family
