Sandra White

Sandra Diane White, of Centennial, passed away with her family, at home, Tuesday July 13, 2021, after a long battle with breast Cancer. Sandy was a loving mother, sister, wife, aunt, and friend. She was born December 28, 1944, in Colorado Springs and graduated Simla High School in 1962, where she was Editor of the yearbook, student council President, and the Sweetheart Queen. She graduated from Colorado State University in 1966 and became a teacher, wife, and mother of two boys Stephen Joel White, 45, and David Alan White, 43. She was married twice, to Ed Henry until his death and to Joel White. Sandy was a wonderful woman who would make you laugh and would support you while you cry. She was a kind and devoted friend, and an avid and skilled quilter. She created beautiful masterpieces shared with her family and friends. Her kindness and creativity will live on in the many quilts that are cherished by all. She is preceded in death by her father, Poe McKim, her mother, Alberta McKim, her brother, Ronnie McKim, her niece, Lori Jo Fulmer, and her three dogs, Tuffy, Taz, and Sophie. She is survived by her two loving boys, Stephen Joel White, 45, and David Alan White, 43, her feisty bichon, Hallie, 16, her daughter in-law Barbara Brownell, and her two grand-dogters, Miko and Maya. She is additionally survived by her brother Larry McKim, his wife, Karen, and their three children, Sean McKim, Michal Reed, and Shannon Lee, her sister-in-law, Mary Ann McKim, nieces, Kara Contos and Kelly McKim, and nephew, Barry Helton. We will celebrate the life of Sandy with close friends and family at a future date.
