Samuel "Sammy" Vela was a giant of a man. His joy of life was evident to anyone who has ever met him. He had a heart for everyone, and a love for life. But it was his love for his beautiful wife Hermione and his son Jaxin that brought out a special sparkle in his eyes. Born on January 11, 1970 to this earth Sammy had a love for music, for God, for Dodgers Baseball, and for good food. Leaving this earth for Heaven on January 10, 2021 Sammy leaves behind his beloved family, and a legacy of joy to all who knew him. This memorial is a way for all of us who knew him to share that legacy with those who have this in common, we were loved. God bless you all, and I know that we now live our lives in memory of him. "No doubt"

Today, we are saddened to hear of the passing of our brother in Christ Samuel G. Vela it was a blessing to serve with you at San Fernando Foursquare. Thank you for the memories and laughs while serving a long side of us in the children’s ministry. Our wonderful gentle giant of a man. The only man big & tall enough to ever bear hug and lift my husband. Lol! Such a funny memory. We are thankful that he found the love of his life and enjoyed the life of being a husband and father. Thank you Lord for Sammy. Fly high brother, go rest high on that mountain. Godspeed. We will be praying for his family. ♥️ Enrique & Patty Madrigal
