Ronald Allen Pepper

          Ronald Allen Pepper is now safe in the arms of Jesus. On January 4, 2024, he left behind all the limitations and suffering of this earthly body. He was born October 21, 1964, here in Parkersburg but grew up in Santee, California. In 1985 he moved back to Parkersburg to be near family.

          He worked for Benson’s truck bodies, Vienna Country Club (as a grounds keeper), Pleasant Air (installing HVAC systems), and Tri-State as a dock supervisor.  His favorite endeavor was when he had his own lawn service. At the end of every day, he and his employees could bask in the satisfaction of knowing that their work was over and above standard. Not only was it good for business but he was setting a good example for his young workers and that was something very important to Ron.

          Ron loved being outside in all kinds of weather to work or to play. He was an adventurer and enjoyed exploring abandoned structures, trails, or caves. His spirit never grew old.

          He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Rodney, and his parents, Raymond Pepper, and Vivian (Black) Pepper. He is survived by his two sons, Isacc and Aaron Pepper, sister, Cinda Hoye, brother, Dale (Mary) Pepper, and several nieces and nephews.

          The family is planning a celebration of life event in early summer. No date has been set yet.
