Welcome to Rochelle's peace garden...this is dedicated in loving memory of a much loved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, in visiting the site you honour Rochelle's memory. You are invited to contribute your fond memories, but first we start by paying homage to Rochelle....also affectionately known as, Shelley or Shell. Rochelle Davidson was born on the 7th April 1973, she was taken on her journey to join the angels and fly high on the 15th February 2024. Rochelle was the first born of her mother Christine and was later joined by two younger brothers, Dwayne and Corey who she doted on. She also has three sisters, Joanne, Melanie and Diana and a brother Nicolas derived from her fathers side, During Rochelle's relatively short but incredibly remarkable earthly presence she left an indelible mark...Rochelle had a fun loving nature with streaks of stubbornness, she was fiercely ambitious and showed dedication to everything she believed in. As a high achiever their so much to celebrate, amongst the many things Rochelle achieved, including being a Radio DJ and hosting her own radio show, Rochelle, rubbed shoulders with the likes of Jesse Jackson, having undertook a scholarship programme, she also achieved and successfully acquired qualifications to work in the magistrates courts, alongside senior judges...many would say "The Girl did well", but Shell never allowed that to cloud her vision or disparage her sense of self or purpose. She loved to dance, and travel meeting people from all walks of life and across the divides she could mix with the highs of society as well as remain grounded and have time for those who would be seen to be on the fringes. Throughout her time, Rochelle remained faithful and always believed in God, her dedication and awareness of faith was tested when in 2015 she endured a near fatal incident whilst holidaying with her much loved mum in Jamaica. Rochelle remained critically ill for a long period of time, but the dedication of a mothers love and Rochelle's determination and strength meant she continued to fight, having to adapt to living life differently. Christine became her main carer and thought vigorously for Rochelle to have the best outcomes. For many this significant life changing experience would be too much to bare but Rochelle displayed a inner strength and outward compassion for all and it is this aspect of Rochelle we need to honour and remember, she was all about love and compassion...ultimately embodying the spirit of humanity. In remembering Rochelle, remember what she stood for and what she represented, she is survived by her beloved mother, Christine, and much loved brothers, Dwayne and Corey, nephews and nieces, extended family and as the days pass, and the years roll please remember them all in your prayers. You are invited to add to her celebration of life, your memories, photos or stories, keep her uplifted in your hearts and minds... Forever remembered.
