Bob, was a great friend and my mentor who provided so much knowledge and wisdom throughout the years. You will be missed deeply but will always be in my heart and never forgotten. Bob and I had great conversations and laughs as we walked to and from FHB to Main Campus especially in the kitchens and cafes that we would inspect. He was a very caring person and passionate about his work and family. Bob, was so funny and always had jokes which I will miss. Rest in peace my dear friend!

Bob was such an interesting and caring person, I loved learning from every conversation we ever had. He was truly committed to our MD Anderson mission. He will be missed.

When I first came to MD Anderson as a Chef, I was nervous to hear there was a full-time, onsite State Inspector and how stressful it might be for me. Soon after I started, Bob came to introduce himself and go over his expectations and what he looks for during his inspections. He let me know that he was here to help us run a safe operation and that we would work together to be successful. He definitely did just that over the years, providing his expertise and knowledge not only to the leaders but also to the staff who interacted with him. Bob had a great sense of humor—as anyone who had a conversation with him would know. I always made sure to ask his take on current events because he always had a great—often funny, more often than not—perspective that he liked to share. Bob was one of a kind, and he will definitely be missed by all. His legacy will live on in all the people he shared his knowledge and friendship with.

Bob was truly one of a kind. His kindness and compassion for others knew no bounds. I always enjoyed our conversations—even when I knew they’d be long—because they were full of warmth, wisdom, and humor. I’m sure God is enjoying those conversations now. You will be deeply missed, Bob.

I will forever be grateful for the knowledge and kindness Bob shared with me. He taught me everything I know about food safety, not just by instruction, but by example. Always leading with integrity and care. He was more than a coworker. He was a mentor, a steady guide, and a truly good person. His passion for his work and the people around him made a lasting impact on all of us. Bob will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

To my friend Bob, You were definitely one of a kind. Always willing to help others and share tips on what medicine to take to cure any ailment. Sometimes I wonder why you weren't a doctor LOL You were always smiling and telling stories to make us laugh. You would bring donuts, cakes, bananas and other goodies for everyone to enjoy. Even when you were you at the office you would ask me to go to put them out for others to enjoy. Thank you for the great times and talk on our trips to the airport. You will be missed my friend
