A love of Disc Golf
Rob will be remembered for his love of disc golf and driving around on all the back roads with no real place to go.
Rob's love of disc golf was great. He enjoyed everything disc golf. He enjoyed finding other people's lost discs and calling the phone written on the disc if they had one. He would celebrate acing a hole and would get horribly annoyed if he had to fish his disc out of a tree or water.
In addition to the love of disc golf Rob will be remembered for his love of the back roads. He hated the highway. Rob would take the backroads whenever he could. There were many of nights when everything was closed that Rob would cruise the back roads and end up at a Meijer just to walk around.
Rob had a love of taking pictures of sun rises and sunsets. He was always looking for the prettiest view of the sky colors at dawn and dusk.
Rob is survived by his children, Morgan Johnson, Nicholas Johnson, and Troy Johnson, his parents Jerry and Anita Johnson, his sister Alisha Dykema, nieces Shaelee Dykema and Lillianna Dykema, a great niece and nephew, many aunts uncles and cousins and many friends.
Rob's favorite team was the University of Michigan. He would go out of his way to say, “Go Blue!” if he saw someone wearing a U of M anything.
Rob will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Rob wouldn't want you to be sad because he is no longer a part of this world. Instead he would want you to go throw around of frisbee golf, go cruise a back road or watch the sunrise for him. We hope that Rob is sitting on a beach watching the forever sunset in a U of M shirt screaming “Go Blue!” to all those who pass by.

I was speaking with Rob's sister, Alisha today. She reminded me of his love for sunrise and sunsets. She said that Rob was always looking for the best sunrise and sunset to take a pretty picture of.
