Robert's Hijo(a)
Robert "Bob" Lloyd Gregoire
1954 - 23 de enero de 2025
1954 - 23 de enero de 2025
Robert “Bob” Lloyd Gregoire (70) of Calverton, Maryland died peacefully on January 23, 2025. He was born on April 29, 1954 at Garfield Hospital in Washington, DC. He is survived by his son, Daniel Gregoire, stepson Sean Young, siblings, Janice Wagner and Stephen Gregoire, nieces, nephews and a host of cousins, former spouse, Karen Gregoire, and a multitude of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodora “Dora” Cokenias Gregoire and Harold Gregoire; his beloved wife of ten years, Kathleen Hanlon Gregoire; and his cherished canine companions: Linus, Ivy, Molly, Jackson, Beeper, and Marco.
Much of Bob’s childhood was spent exploring the outdoors with his siblings and friends, fostering his love for sports, particularly baseball. He could be found both on the field in little league and cheering in the stands at Washington Senators games. He attended the University of Maryland where he studied Landscape Architecture and then established Allview Landscaping with his dear friend David Clifford. Their partnership was a natural one, as Bob had been embraced as an honorary member of the Clifford family and remained so throughout his life.
Bob spent much of his career as a landscaper and entrepreneur, sharing his deep love of nature with his customers by creating outdoor oases, hardscapes, and revitalized gardens. His career culminated in 15 years of service to his community as a school bus driver for Montgomery County, where he reliably and safely transported students to and from school.
Bob’s greatest joys were found in simple, yet deeply meaningful moments: shooting hoops with his son at the elementary school, taking weekend road trips with his family, spending leisure time in the yard with his dog, playing volleyball with friends on Wednesday nights, relaxing with the horses, and enjoying Tex-Mex date nights with Kathleen.
Bob’s life was rooted in an unwavering commitment to faith, family, and friends. His ever-present sense of humor, charismatic presence, and empathetic nature guided him through life, all while creating a mosaic of vibrant and lasting memories with those around him.

Daniel, I’m so sorry to learn of Bob’s passing. He was a great man. I loved him as a friend and we laughed a lot either on the phone or in person. I have you all in prayers for peace, strength and comfort as you walk through this time of horrible grief. Losing a parent or sibling is so very hard. Life changes forever. He loved you and I know you will moss him forever. God bless you all. May his memory be eternal. 🙏
