Robert Eason

“Bob” aka Stretch, Bob-man, Captain Bob, Big Bobby, slipped peacefully into eternity with His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday evening October 18, 2023, at the age of 69. After valiantly fighting and surviving brain cancer in 2018, he enjoyed every bit of his extended life, despite the physical and cognitive losses he suffered. Bob was born on October 3, 1954, in Norfolk, Virginia to Helen Ray Baker Eason (predeceased). He leaves behind His beloved wife of 40 years Darlene Eason, his three sons: Robert, Christian, and Shane Eason, and his four grandchildren: Fiona, Avery, Cadence, and Henry Eason. Also surviving are his five siblings: John Eason, Vicki O’Rourke, Kim Malyar, Cindy Rogers, and Jeff Domitrowski. Bob owned and operated two businesses: Edison National – a custom metal fabrication shop and Reason Enterprises - construction and carpentry. He was a gifted problem solver, machinist, mechanic, carpenter, and a true Jack of all trades. He loved to provide a product that was “above and beyond” for his clients who often became friends. He was a wealth of information and everyone was delighted when he opened up like an encyclopedia. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycling, and target practice with his sons and buddies, road trips with his CP (cutie pie), and every minute of time with his grandchildren. He faithfully and joyfully served His Heavenly Father in the local church as well as in mission work in the States and abroad. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Service to be held at 11:00 AM on November 4th, 2023, at Park Church, 31 Park Road, Tinton Falls, NJ. In lieu of flowers please consider a gift to Mountain High Brain Injury Camp PO Box 467 Winnsboro, TX 75494 or St. Jude.
